HomeMy WebLinkAbout009 - 04/24/1916 - RELATING TO THE SALARIES OF OFFICERS AND EMPLOYEES OF THE CITY ORDINANCE NO _jL_ 1916 RELATING TO SALxRIES OF OFFICERS AND EMPLOYES OF TIE CITY OF FORT COLLINS BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COU'vCIL OF THE CITY OF IOAT COLLI14S Section 1 That the salaries and counensation of the officers other than the commissioners of the City of Fort Collins shall be as follow to-wit City Attorney per month $75 00 City Clerk per month 112 50- City Engineer per month 140 00 Judges of Municipal Court each 15 00 which said salaries shall be paid in monthly installments during the term of said offices ISection 2 The designated salaries and compensation of all other employes of said city provided for by ordinance and by this ordinance shall be as follows to-wit Assistant Commissioner of Highways Public Works and Utilities per month q�?'125 00 Health Officer per month 40 00 Chemist City dater Department per month 12 50 Fooa Inspector oer 7non`n 75 00 Chief of Police per month 85 00 Patrolten each -oer month 75 00 Assistant Supt of later lorvs per *nontn 90 OQ Care Taker Filter Plant per mon+h 90 00 Care Taker Pumping Plant and reservoir per month 60 00 Caretaker City standpipe and scales 5WJ per month 40 00 of Fire Departure t per month 75 00 First lieutenant pe 11th 70 00 Second Lieutenant per month 65 00 Pipe and Foee men each per month 60 00 Ni ht serz�vice men a ch er month 15 00 As istant Supreintenaent of Cemetery per month 75 00 Assistant in charge of City Park with horse per month 70 00 vie Assistant in charge Lincoln Park per month �60 00 Building Inspector per month 25 00 Deputy Electrical Inspector per month 15 00 Street foreman per month 75 00 Drivers of city teams each per month 60 00 Caretaker City Dump per month 20 00 All the salaries of said employes shall be paid in monthly installments in accordance with the regulations of the city council respecting the auditing and payment of bills Section 3 All persons named in Section 2 of this ordinance are hereby declared to be employes of the City of Fort Collins and all such employes as well as all other persons who shall be appointed by the Council to employment shall hold the office or employment to which they are appointed at the pleasure of the Council upon the recommendation of the commissioner in whose department the appointee is to be employed Section 4 All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict with this ordinance are hereby repealed Introduced and ordered read and published at a regular adjourned meeting of the city council held on the llth day of April 1916 Passed and adopted this i''f9day of 4pril A D 1916 Commissioner of Safety and Ex-officio Mayor ATiB_� C-ity Clerk` r STATE OF COLORADO ) -3S COUNTY OF LARIMER ) I Ray Baxter City Clerk of the City of Fort Collins do hereby certify and declare that the foregoing ordinance consisting of four (4) sections duly proposed and read at length at a meeting of the City Council neld on the _)141 day of April A D 1916 was duly ordered by Aye and Nay vote to be published in the Fort Collins Morning Express a daily newspaper of the City of Fort Collins in accordance with the provisions of Section 7 of Article IV of the City Charter that thereafter and on to-wit the day of April 1916 at a regular meeting of the City Council said ordinance came before said Council on its final passage a period of more than ten days naving elapsed since the publication as above set forth and tnat said or finance was upon second reading adopted as an ordinance and thereafter and on to-wit the 2-�*L day of April 1910 said Ordinance No as finally passed and adopted was duly published in the Fort Collins Morning Express a daily newspaper published in the City of Fort Collins Colorado In Witness Whereof I have hereunto set my hand this 2,�day of AprIB1 1916 City er
