IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUITCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS Section I That Section 1 of Ordinance No 6 1914 providing for the issuance of licenses for laying constructing or reconstructing cement sidewalks and driveways and providing for a bond to be executed for such licenses for the suspension and revoking of such licenses and providing penalties for the violation thereof be and is hereby amended so as to read as foll,ws Section 1 It shall be unlawful for any person firri or corporation to lay construct or reconstruct cement sidewalks driveways curbs or gutters for hire without first having obtained license therefor from the City Council as herein provided That Section 2 of said Ordinance be emended so as to read as follows Section 2 The license fee for laying construct- ing and reconstructing cement sidewalks driveways curbing or gutters shall be $5 00 per annum and a bond shall be required to be signed by some reliable surety company to be approved by the City Council in the sum of 02,000 00 which said bond shall be conditioned to comply with all the provisions of this ordinance and all the ordinances of the city of Fort Collins relating to the construction of sidewalks curbs gutters and driveways and in accordance -71th the specifications of the City Engineer and that such licensed persons will enforce said provisions upon all his or its employes and will respond for any and all damages occasioned by the acts of said licensee Introduced read first tirve and ordered published APRIL 17 1916 LL Passed and adopted this 07 day of �t _1916 U i Cornissioner of Safety and Ex-Officio Mayor L� �/ City Clerk STATE OF COLORADO ) -es COUNTY OF LARIMER ) I Ray Baxter City Clerk of the City of Fort Collins do hereby certify and declare that the foregoing ordinance consisting of one (1) section duly proposed and read at length at a meeting of the City council held on the Ian day of April. 1916 was duly ordered by "aye" and "nay" vote to be published in the Fort Collins Morning Express a daily newspaper of the City of Fort Collins in accordance with the provisions of Section 7 of Article IV of the City Chartdir, that thereafter and on, to-wit, the IS day of kp� 1916 at a regular meeting of the City Council, said ordinance came before said Council on its final passage a period of more than ten days having elapsed since the publication as above set forth and that said ordinance was upon second reading adopted as an ordinance and thereafter and on to-wit the toga.) day of 1916 said Ordinance No to as finally passe and adopted was duly published in the Fort Collins adorning Express a daily newspaper published in the City of Fort Collins Colorado In Witness Whereof, I have hereunto set my hand this day of May 1916 X'40'�'-' City Clerk
