IN RELATION TO ESTRAYS.
be it ordained by the City Council of the City of rt. Collins,
Colorado:
Section 1. It shall be unlawful to permit horses, asses,
mules, cattle, sheep swine and goats to run at large within the
corporate limits of this city.
Section 2. The City Marshal is hereby authorized to take up
and confine in- a secure pen or pound or other place to be pro- .
vided by him for that purpose every animal mentioned in Section 1,
hereof, found running at large within the corporate limits of this
city. upon such taking up and impounding of such animals, said
marshal shall forthwith give the notices and proceed to make sale
of such animals in accordance with the procedure and under the
provisions of Chapter 176, of the Session Laws of the State of
Colorado, being entitled, "An act providing for a system of
procedure by the Marshal or Chief of Police in cities or in-
corporated towns where animals may be found running at large
contrary to ordinance; providing for sale, and repealing all acts
and parts of acts in conflict therewith, " (Approved April 9, 1907. )
Section 3. Ordinance Number 30, Series of 1889 is hereby
repealed.
