AMENDIP?G SECTION 3 OF ORDINANCE NO. 19, 1917 RELATING TO THE REGULATION AND OPERATION OF ALL BINDS OF VE— HICLES UPON THE STREETS AND ALLEYS WITHIN THE CORPOR— ATE LIMITS OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS AND REPEALING SECTIONS 1 AND $ OF SAID ORDINANCE NO. 19 . BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUP?CIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS: Section 1. That Section 3 of Ordinance No. 19, 1917 relating to the regulation and operation of all kinds of ve- hioles upon the streets and alleys within the corporate limits of the City of Fort Collins be amended so as to read as follows: "Section 3 . :,o machine or motor driver, vehicle shall be driven at a greater rate of speed upon the streets within the corporate limits of the City of Fort Collins than 15 miles per hour within the fire limits of said City and 30 miles per hour upon all streets outsidp the fire limits of said City and not to exceed miles per hour in any of the public parks or Gr d iew Cemetery, and upon the alleys not to exceed 12 miles per hour excepting in passing from an alley to a street, or from a garage across any alley, crossing or sidewalk, the machine shall be brought to a full stop at the crossing or sidewalk and the horn sounded at all times before making such crossing; and any kind of reckless driving at whatever rate of speed of any kind of ve- hicle or animal is hereby prohibited. " Section Z. Sections 1 and 3 of said Ordinance No. 1S and all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict with this ordinance are hereby repealed; but said repeal shall not in any manner affect any cause or causes of action which may have accrued under said ordinance in favor of the City of Fort Collins prior to the taking effect of said repeal and shall be prosecuted as tho no repeal had been made. D. 1918, and was/ordered. by aye and nay vote to be published once in full in The Fort Collins Express, a daily newspaper of the City of Fort Collins, in accordance with the provisions of Section 7 of Article IV of the City Charter; that thereafter and on, to-wit, the � day of July, 1918, at a reg- ular meeting of the City Council, the said ordinance came before said council upon its final passage, a period of more than ten days havinm elapsed since its publication as above set forth, and that said ordinance was upon sec- and reading adopted as an ordinance, and thereafter and on, to-wit, the � day of July, 1918, said Ordinance do. Z as finally passed and adopted was duly published in The Fort Collins Express, a daily newspaper published in the said City of Fort Collins, Colorado .
