ORDINANCE NO 1919
BEING AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE RELATING TO THE OFFICES OF
ASSISTANT COMMISSIONER OF AlORKS AND ASSISTANT CITY ENGINEER
AND FIXIIIG THE SALARIES FOR SAID OFFICERS AND REPEALING ALL
ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN COA FLICT HERETITh

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLIgS
Section 1 That there be and hereby is created the
oftice of Assistant City Engineer, which sh 11 be unaer the
control and direction of the Comrrissioner of Works and the
City En-sneer and the Assistant City Engineer shall discharge
such duties as may be assigned to saia officer b3 the ComrLis-
sionel of Works and the City Engineer ana those cormensation
is hereby fixed at One hundrea and Forty (140 00) Dollars per
month
Section 2 In addition to the du'l es of the City
Engineer the City Engineer shall also aischarge all the
duties of the Assistant Commissioner of Works under the
direction and control of the Commissioner of Works ana the
salary -nd co rpensation for slid combined services shall be .,,
One Hkndred and Sixt3-five (165 00) Dollars per month

Section 3 All ordii ances ana parts of ordinances
in conflict talth this ordinance are hereby repealed
•
Section 4 In the opinion of the City Council an
emergency exists for the preservation of the puolic health
peace and safety and this ordinance snall take effect upon its
-D&ssaae and uublication under and by virtue of the authority

contained in Sections 6 ana 7 of Article IV of the City Chaiter

Collins by the unanimous vote o* all the membe,s of the City
Council as an emergency ordinance in accordance with the
provisions of Sections 6 and 7 of Article IV of the City Charter ,
