BEING 45 EMERGENCY ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE ISSUANCE OF FIVE PER
CENT REGISTERED 'JARRANTS IN THE A1JOURT OF FOR
MUNICIPAL RAIL AAY EI EEZGENCY EXPENSE
VIUREAS, Since the adoption of the annual appropriation
ordinance for the fiscal year ending December 31, 1927, an eme.Lgency
and unforeseen contingency has arisen, whereby it has become and is
necessary to pay Oae 7�iov5 at7 <L (6 /d000a )
Dollars for Municipal Railway Emergency expense , and the public
necessity requires an additional appropriation cf public funds
therefor therefore
BE IT ORDAIN) Bl THE CITY COLDTCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
Section 1 That there be and hereby is appropriated out
of the Municipal Railway revenues for the year 1928 , unless tkken up
prior thereto,the sum of One- (s /'000 \o )
Dollars, to be used to pay for Municipal Railway Emergency exroense ,
wh ch said sum, when this ordinance takes effect , shall be credited
on the books of the City Clerk and City Treasurer to t1B Municipal
Railway Emergency Fund, and registered five (5%) per cent warrants of
the City shall oe issued to cover said amount
Section 2. In the opinion of the City Counc it an emergency
exists for the preservation of the public health, peace and safety, and
this ordinance shall lake effect upon its passage and rublication,
under and by virtue of the authority contained in Sections 6 and 7
of Article IV of the City Charter
Introduced, readd at length and adopted by the unanimous vote
of all members of tne, City Council at a regular meeting held! this
21st day of May, A D 1927

of two (2) sections, was duly proposed and read at length at a
regular meeting of the City Council veld on the 21st day of May,
A D 1927, and was duly adopted and ordered published in the Fort
Collins Express-Courier , a daily newspaper and the official newspaper
of the City of Fort Collins , by the unanimous vote of all members of
the Council, as an emergency ordinance, in accordarne with the
provisions of Sections; 6 ana 7 of Article IV of the City Charter
and thereafter, and on to-wit the .2`f1�Fday of May, A D 1927 ,
said Ordinance No !(�_ was duly published in the Fort Collins
Express-Courier, a daily newspaper published in the City of Fort
Collins, Colorado
