ORDINANCE NO 1927,
BEING AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING SSUANCE OF FIVE PER
CENT REGISTERED WARRANTS IN THE AMOUNT OF FOR
MUNICIPAL RAILWAY EMERGENCY EXPENSE
W11ERREAS, Since the adopt i cn of the annual appropriation
ordinance for the fiscal year ending December 31, 1927 , an emergency
and unforeseen contingency 13as arisen, whereby it has become and is

Dollars for Municipal Railway Emergency expense, and the public
necessity requires an additional appropriation of public funds
therefor, therefore
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE GITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT GOLLINS
Section 1 That there be and hereby is appropriated out
of the Municipal Railway revenues for the year 1928, unless taken up '
prior thereto, the sum of One TXo,4V5ahJ .dv//aY5 ( aoo V �)
Dollars, to be used to pay for Municipal Railway Emergency expense,
which said sum, when this ordinance takes effect, shall be credited
on the books of the City Clerk and City Treasurer to the Municipal
Railway Emergency Fund, and registered five (5%) per cent warrants of
the City shall be issued to cover said amount
Section 2 In the opinion of the City Council an emergency
exibts for the preservation of the public health, peace and safety,
and this ordinance shall take effect upon its passage aryl publication,
under and by virtue of the authority contained in Sections 6 and 7
of Article IV of the City Charter,
Introduced, read at length and adopted by the unanimous vote
of all members of the City Council at a regular meeting held this
16th day of September, A D 1927

of two (2) sections was duly proposed and read at length at a
regular meeting of the City Council held as the loth day of
September, A D 1927, and was duly adopted and orderea published
in the Fort Collins Express-Coirier, a daily newspaper and the
official newspaper of the City of Fart Collins , by the unanimous
vote of all members of the Council, as an emergency ordinance, in
accordance with the provis� ,ns of Sections 6 and 7 of Article IV
of the City Charter, and thereafter, and on to-wit the /3 7
day of September, A D 1927, said Ordinance No 02 l was duly
published in the Fort Collins Express-Courier, a daily newspaper
published in the City of Fort Collins, Colorado
