BEING AN DMGENCY ORDMANCE MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR THE PURCHASE
OF THIRTY CATERPILLAR TRACTOR
77HER.EA5, Since the adoption of the annual appropriation
ordinance for the fiscal year ending December 31, 1927, an emergency
and unforeseen contingency has arisen, vkiereby it has become and is
necessary to purchase a Thirty Caterpillar Tractor for use on the
streets of the City of Fort Collins, and the public necessity
requires an additional appropriation of public funds therefor,

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
Section 1 That there be and hereby is appropriated out
of the general revenues of the City cf Fort Collins for the yearsl928,�
unless taken up prior thereto, the sum of �Ijree. Z?vr/.5 and-- -�Wc
&"dreJ Xerl ( .�,ZIC co ) Dollars to be used for the purchase
of a Thirty Caterpillar Tractor for use on the streets of the City of
Fort Collins, which said sum, when this ordinance takes effect, shall
be credited on the books of the City Clerk and City Treasurer to the

Caterpillar Tractor Fund, and registered s�= (9*) per cent warrants of
the City shall be issued to cover said amount
Section 2 In the opinion of the City Council an emergency
exists for the preservation of the public health peace and safety,
and this ordinance shall take effect upon its passage sad publication,
under and by virtue of the authority contained in Sections 6 and 7 of
Article IY of the City Charter
Introduced, read at length and adopted by the unanimous
vote of all members of the City Council at a regular meeting held
this day of September, A D 1927
