BEIffG AN DiEPGENCY ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 277 EITTITLED
"APPLICATIONS--PERTrITS" OF PART XXVI OF TIM BUILDI14 CODE OF THE
CITY OF FORT COLLIITS COLORADO
BE IT ORDAIITED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
Section 1 That Section 277 entitled "Applications--
Permits " of Part XXVI of the Building Coae of the City of Fort
Collins be and the same is hereby amended to read as follows
"Before any gas fitting is started except in the
case of repairs or leaks the person firm or corp-
oration responsible for such work shall file with
Vie Building Inspector an application for a permit for
each separate iob giving street number and name of
the owner of the premises Such permit shall be issued
only on the order of the Building Inspector who shall
be furnished with plans , drawings, specifications or
desciiption of the proposed work The applicant shall
pay the sum of fifty cents upon the issuing of such
permit, In case of any violation of this regulation
the permit granted for the work may be revoked upon
the order of the Building Inspector, and upon notice
of said revocation being given, all gas fitting work
on said building must cease "
Section 2 All ordinances or parts of ordinances in
conflict with this ordinance are hereby repealed
Section 3 In the opinion of the City Council an emergency
exists for the preservation of the public nealth peace and safety and
this ordinance shall take effect upon its passage and publication under
and by virtue of the authority contained in Sections 6 and 7 of Srticle
IV of the City Charter
Introduced, read at length and adopted bj the unanimous vote
of all the members of the City Council this 24th day of December A D

do hereby certify and declare that the foregoing ordinance, consist-
ing of three (3) secuions was duly proposed and read at length at a
regular meeting of the City Council held on the 24th day of December,
A D 1927, and was duly adopted and ordered published in the Fort
Collins Express-Couiier a daily newspaper and the official newspaper
of the City of Fort Collins , by the unanimous vote of all members of
the Council as an emergency ordinance , in accordance with the pro-
visions of Sections 6 and 7 of Article IV of the City Charter and
thereafter on to-wit the 21 day of December A D 1927 Baia
Ordinance No 33 was published in the Fort Collins Express-
Courier, a daily newspaper published in the City of Fort Collins,
Colorado
IN WITNESS 111HEREOF I have hereunto set my nand and
affixed the seal of said City this 7 day of December, A D 1927
