BE IT ORDAINED BY TIC CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS: Section 1. The giving of false fire alarms by the use of the fire apparatus belonging to the City of Fort Collins, or by telephone, or any other method by Iahich a false fire alarm may be given to the Fire Department is hereby prohibited. Section 2. Any person or persons who shall violate the provisions of this ordinance shall upon conviction be fined in any sum not less than Fifty ($50.00) Dollars nor more than One Hundred ($100.00) Dollars for each offense, and costs of suit, and in default of payment of fine and costs, may be committed to the County jail for a period not to exceed ninety (90) days. Section 3. In the opinion of the City Comzcil an emergency exists for the preservation of the-public health, peace and safety, and this ordinance shall take effect upon its passage and publication, under and by virtue of the authority contained in Sections 6 and 7 of Article IV of the City Charter. Introduced, read at length and adopted by the unanimous vote of all the members of the City Council this 9th day of February, A. D. 1924, and was duly adopted and ordered published in the Fort Collins Express-Courier, a daily newspaper and the official newspaper of the City of Fort Collins, by the unanimous vote of all members of the Council, as an emergency ordinance, in accordance with the provisions of Sections 6 and 7 of Article IV of the City Charter; and thereafter to-wit: the /0 '' dey of February, A. D. 1924, said Ordinance No. 1�1 was duly published in the Fort Collins Express- Courier, a daily newspaper published in the City of Fort Collins, Colorado.
