BEING AN HZIERGENCY ORDINANCE L14MTDING A PORTION OF SECTION 3 OF ORDI:':ANCE
110. 17, 1922, MATING TO LICENSES ICR PEDDLIP'G AND TRANSIENT SALES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF YORT COLLINS:
Section 1. That that portion' of_ Section 3 of Ordinance
No. 17, 1922, relating to the license fee to havik or peddle popcorn,
peanuts, candy and ice cream within the corporate limits of the City of
Fort Collins, be amended so as to read as follows:
"The license fee to hav& or peddle popcorn, peanuts,
candy, ice cream and sandwich lunches wi thin the
corporate limits of the City of Fort Collins shall be
twenty-five ($25.00) Dollars per annum, payable in
advance."
Section 2. In the opinion of the City Council an emergency
exists for the preservation of the public health, pea os and safety, and
this ordinance shall take effect upon its passage and publication, under
and by virtue of the authority contained in Sections 6 and 7 of Article I7
of the City Charter.
Introduced, read at length and adopted by the unanimous
vote of all the members of the City Council this 9th day of February,
A. D. 1924.

consis tang of wxx two (2) sections, was duly proposed and read at
length at a regular meeting of the City Council held on the 9th day of
February, A. D. 1924, and was duly adopted and ordered published in the
Fort Collins Express-Courier, a daily newspaper and the official
newspaper of the City of Fort Collins, by. the unanimous vote of all
members of the Council, as an emergency ordinance, in ac •ordance with
the provisions of Sections 6 and 7 of ;Article IV of the City Charter;
and thereafter, on to-wit: the /C� ' day of Feb r°ary, A. D. 1924, said
Ordinance No. Z/ was duly published in the Fort Collins Express-
Courier, a daily newspaper published in the City of Fort Collins,
Colorado.
