OF 1924.
BE IT CRDi.INED BY THE CITY COUACEL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS:
Section 1. That all of Section 6 of Part I entitled,
"General Provisions , " of the Building Code of the City of Fort
Collins, Colorado, being Ordinance No. 30, Series of 1924, be and
the same is hereby amended to read as follows , which amendment
shall supersede and take the place of said Section 6:
Section 6. TIa BUILDIEG IIISPECTOR. The Commissioner
of Safety and Ex-Officio 1%yor shall appoint, with the approval
of the other commissioners, a Building Inspector of the City of
Fort Collins , who shall be a resident of Fort Collins, to serve
at the pleasure of the City Council. The Building Inspector shall
devote to the duties of the office of Building Inspector such an
amount of time as shall be necessary to the proper conduct of
such office , and shall receive such compensation as may be deter-
mined by the City Council. The Commissioner of Safety and Ex-
ppoint with the approval of the other
fTf£icio Mayor may appoint,, pp
commissioners, deputy building inspectors who shall serve with
or without compensation as may be determined by the City
Council.
Section 2. All ordinances and parts of ordinances
in conflict with this ordinance are hereby repealed.
Section 3. In the opinion off t�e City Council an
emergency exists for the preservation of the public health,
peace and safety, and this ordinance shall take effect upon its
passage and publication under and by virtue of the authority
contained in Sections 6 and 7 of Article IV of the City Charter .

the official newspaper of the City of Fort Collins by the unanimous
vote of all members of the City Council as an em-rgency ordinance
in accordance with the provisions of Sections 6 and 7 of Article IV
of the City Charter and thereafter on to-wit the 6th day of
