BEING AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE ISSUANCE OF FIVE PER
CENT REGISTERED WARRANTS IN THE AMOUNT OF $1250 00 ON ACCOUNT OF
ERECTION OF HAND STAND AND PURCHASE OF SEATS
WTiEREAS, since the adoption of the annual appropriation
ordinance for the fiscal year ending December 31, 1930, an emergency
and unforeseen contingency has arisen, whereby it has become and is
necessary to pay Twelve Hundred and Fifty ($1250 00) Dollars on
account of the erection of a band stand and the purchase of seats,
and the public necessity requires an additional appropriation of
public funds therefor, THEREFORE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
FORT COLLINS
Section 1 That there be and hereby is appropriated
out of the general revenues of the City of Fort Collins for the
years, 1931, 1932, 1933, 1934 and 1935, unless taken up prior
thereto, the sum of Twelve Hundred and Fifty ($1250.00) Dollars
to be used for the erection of a band stand in the City Park
and for the purchase of seats in connection therewith and for
other matters incidental thereto, and which said sum, when this
ordinance takes effect, shall be credited on the books of the
City Clerk and City Treasurer to band stand emergency fund and
registered five per cent (5%) warrants of the City shall be issued
to cover said amount
Section 2 In the opinion of the City Council an
emergency exists for the preservation of the public health, peace
and safety, and this ordinance shall take effect upon its passage
and publication, under and by virtue of the authority contained

in Sections 6 and 7 of Article IV of the City Charter
Introduced, read at length and adopted by
the unanimous vote of all members of the City Council at/M=
as4 /meeting of the City Council, held the 29th day of
May, A D 1930

Fort Collins, do hereby certify and declare that the foregoing
Ordinance, consisting of two (2) sections, was duly proposed and
read at length at a called meeting of the City Council held on
the 29th day of May, A D 1930, and was duly adopted and ordered
published in the Fort Collins Express-Courier a daily newspaper
and the official newspaper of the City of Fort Collins,by the
unanimous vote of all members of the City Council, as an emergency
ordinance, in accordance with the provisions of Sections 6 and 7
of Article IV of the City Charter, and thereafter and on to-wit
the 3rd day of June, A D 1930, said Ordinance No 9 was
duly published in the Fort Collins Express-Courier, a daily
newspaper published in the City of Fort Collins, Colorado
