EMERGENCY ORDINANCE TO REGULATE AND RESTRICT THE LOCATIONS OF
BUILDINGS AND STRUCTURES , AND THE USE OF BUILDINGS AND STRUCTURES
ETC hND TO DIVIDE THE CITY INTO CERTAIN DISTRICTS,COINUTONLY KNOWN
AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
That Ordinance No 10 of the Series of 1929,
being an emergency ordinance to regulate and restrict the locations
of buildings and structures and the use of buildings and structures
and land the height and size of buildings and other structures,
the area and dimensions of open space in building lots, the
density of population, and for said purposes to divide the City
into districts, be and the same is hereby amended by adding
thereto paragraph a, b and c under Section 2, entitled Zoning
District Regulations
Section 2 (a) The zoning district map here-
tofore adopted and declared to be a part of this ordinance, shall
be changed and amended so that Lots One (1) and Two (2) , in Block
One Hundred Six (106) Harrison's Addition to the City of Fort
Collins, shall be taken from the D Commercial District and put
into and made a part of the B Residence District, and that Lots
Nine (9) , Ten (10 ) , Eleven (11) and Twelve (12) , in Block One
Hundred Thirteen (113 ) in the City of Fort Collins shall be
taken from the C Residence District and put into and made a part
of the E Commercial District, and that the City Engineer amend the
original zoning district map to comply with this ordinance
(b) All ordinances and parts
of ordinances in conflict with this ordinance are hereby repealed
(c ) In the opinion of the City
Council an emergency exists for the preservation of the public

health, peace and safety, and this ordinance shall take effect
upon its passage and publication under and by virtue of the
authority contained in Sections 6 and 7 of Article IV of the
City Charter
Introduced, read at length and adopted by
the unanimous vote of all the members of the City Council this
18th day of July, A D 1930

ordinance, consisting of one (lT section, was duly proposed
and read at length at a regular meeting of the City Council held
on the 18th day of July, A D 1930, and was duly adopted and
ordered published in the Fort Collins Express-Courier, a daily
newspaper and the official newspaper of the City of Fort Collins,
by the unanimous vote of all members of the City Council, as an
emergency ordinance, in accordance witih the provisions of Sections
6 and 7 of Article IV of the City Charter, and theraiter and on
to-wit the 22nd day of July, A D 1930, said Ordinance No 11
was duly published in the Fort Collins Express-Courier, a daily
newspaper published in the City of Fort Collins , Colorado
