ORDINANCE NO 23 1920 RELATING TO AMUSEMENTS PASSED AND ADOPTED
JUNE 26 1920 AND ORDINANCE NO 35 1928 PASSED AND ADOPTE➢ DECEPBER
1 1928 AND ORDINANCE NO 8 1930 PASSED AND ADOPTED MAY 29 1930
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
Section 1 That Section 3 of Ordinance No 23 1920
relating to amusements the same being an amendment of Section 491 of
the Fort Collins Code 1918 and Ordinance No 35 1928 passed and
adopted December 1 1928 and Ordinance No 8 1930 passed and adopted
May 29 1930 be and the same are hereby amended by adding thereto the
following
Section 3 (b) Provided however, that licenses issued
under and by virtue of Ordinance No 35 1928 passed and adopted December 1
1928 and Ordinance No 8 1930 passed and adopted May 29 1930 may be
transferred from the licensee to another person persons co-partnership
or corporation upon the approval of the City Council first had and obtained
Section 2 All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
with this ordinance are hereby repealed
Section 3 In the opinion of the City Council an emergency
exists for the preservation of the public health peace and safety and
this ordinance shall take effect upon its passage and publication under
and by virtue of the authority contained in Sections 6 and 7 of Article IV
of the City Charter
Introduced, read at length and adopted by the unanimous vote
of all the members of the City Council at a regular meeting held this 22nd
day of August A D 1930

do hereby certify and declare that the foregoing ordinance consisting
of three (3) sections was duly proposed and read at length at a regular
meeting of the City Council held on the 22nd day of August A D 1930
and was duly adopted and ordered published in the Fort Collins ExDress-
Courier a daily newspaper and the official newspaper of the City of
Fort Collins by the unanimous vote of all members of the Council as
an emergency ordinance in accordance with the provisions of Sections
6 and 7 of Article IV of the City Charter and thereafter and on to-wit
the Zhh day of August A D 1930 said Ordinance No 12 was duly
published in the Fort Collins Express-Courier a daily newspaper
published in the City of Fort Collins Colorado
IN WITNESS WHEREOF I have hereunto set my hand and
affixed the seal of said City this 27 th day of August A D 1930
