ORDINANCE, " AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE RELATING TO THE ANNUAL APPROPRIATIONS FOR THE FISCAL YFAR BEGINNING JANUARY 1st, 1931, AND ENDING DECEMBFR 31st, 1931, AND FIXING THE MILL LEVIES FOR SAID FISCAL YEAR BE IT ORDAINEDBY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS Section 1 That there be and is hereby appropriated out of the revenues of the City of Fort Collins for the fiscal year beginning January 1, 1931, and ending December 31, 19319 the sum of Three hundred fifteen thousand three hundred eighty-four and 66/100 ($315,384 66) Dollars, to be raised by taxation and otherwise, which said for the purpose of providing necessary funds for meeting the appropriations set forth in Section 1 of this ordinance, the following levies be and are hereby made upon each dollar of the assessed valuation of all taxable property within the corporate limits of the City of Fort Collins, the same being the amount necessary, together with estimated miscellaneous receipts, to provide for the payment of the foregoing appropriations and to meet the payment during the fiscal year ending December 31, 1931, of all properly authorized demands upon the City Treasurer, to-wit i Local Improvement Districts --------- 2 13 mills Interest Refunding Bonds of 1929 ---- 26 mills General Expense --------------------- 12 61 mills being a total of 15 00 mills, which levies shall be certified to the County Assessor, and to the Board of County Commissioners of Larimer County, Colorado, by the Commissioner of Safety and Ex-Officio Mayor and the City Clerk, as provided by law Section 3 In the opinion of the City Council an emergency exists for the preservation of the public health, peace and safety, and this ordinance shall take effect upon its passage and publication, under and by virtue of the authority contained in Sections6 and 7 of Article IV of the City Charter Introduced, read at length and adopted by the unanimous vote of all members of the City Council at a regular meeting do hereby certify and declare that the foregoing ordinance consisting of three ( 3) sections, was duly proposed and read at length at a regular meeting of the City Council held on the 31st day of October, A D 1930, and was duly adooted and ordered published in the Fort Collins Express-Courier, a daily newspaper and the official newspaper of the City of Fort Collins, by the unanimous vote of all members of the Council, as an emergency ordinance, in accordance with the provisions of Sections 6 and 7 of Article IV of the City Charter, and thensafter, and on to-wit the 3d day of November, 1930, said Ordinance No 16 was duly published in t e ort Collins Express-Courier, a daily newspaper published in the City of Fort Collins, Colorado IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and
