OF AN MMGENCY ARISING ITT CONNECTIOIT WITTI REPAIR AND RE-T60DELING
OF TnE CITY LIBRARY
WHEREAS, since the adoption of the annual appro-
priation ordinance for the fiscal year ending December 31, 1932,
an emergency and unforeseen contingency has arisen, whereby _t
has become and is necessary to pay not to exceed the sum of
Fifteen Hundred ($1500 00 ) Dollars on account of the frepair
and alteration of the City Library, and the public necessity
requires an additional appropr-ation of public funds therefor
THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY T-K-E CITY COUNCIL
OF TT-E CITY OF FORT COLLINS
Section 1 That there be and hereby is appro-
priated out of the general revenues of the City of Fort Collins
for the year 1933 and subsequent years, as may beieafter be directed
by the City Council, unless taken up prior thereto, the sum of
Fifteen Hundred ($1500 00) Dollars on account of the repair and
alteration of the City Library, and registered 4% warrants
of the City shall be issued to cover the amount required therefor
not to exceed the sum of Iifteen Hundred (01500 00) Dollars, the
denomination of said warrants to be as directed by the Commissioner
of Finance, which said sum when this ordinance shall take effect,
stall be credited on -che books of the City ClerK and City Treas-
urer respectively, to Additional Library Improvement Fund
Section 2 The above appropriation is in addition
to the emergency appropriation for the same purpose heretofore

made in Ordinance No 6 1931
Section 3 In the opinion of the City Council
an emergency exists for the preservation of the public nealth,
peace and safety , and t'lis Ordinance shall take effect upon its
passage and publication, under and by virtue of the authority
contained in Sections 6 and 7 of Article IV of the City Charter
Introduced, read at length and adopted by the
unanimous vote of all nembers of the City Council at a regular
meeting of the City Council, held the 19th day of February,

foregoing Ordinance, consisting of tnree (3) sections, was duly
proposed and read at length at a regular meeting of the City
Council held on zhe 19th day of February, A D 1932, and was
duly adopted and ardered published in the Fort Collins Express-
Courier, a daily newspaper and the official newspaper of the
City of Fort Collins, by the unanimous vote of all members of
the City Council, as an Emergency Ordinance, in accordance with
the provisions of Sections 6 and 7 of Article IV of the City
Charter and thereafter and on to-wit the 23rd day of February
A D 1932, said Ordinance No 2 was duly published in the
Fort Collins Express-Courier, a daily newspaper published in the
City of Fort Collins, Colorado
