HomeMy WebLinkAbout003 - 05/06/1932 - AMENDING SECTION 1 OF ORDINANCE NO. 008, 1930, REGARDING AMUSEMENTS (EMERGENCY ORDINANCE) Y ORDINANCE NO 31 1932, BEING AN EI H GENCY ORDINANCE A =TDIIIG SECTION 1 OF ORDINANCE hO 81 1930, PASSED AND ADOPTED TLkY 29, 1930 BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLIh S Section 1 That Section 1 of Ordinance No 81 1930, relating to amusements, said last mentioned ordinance being an amendment to Ordinance No 23, 1920, and of Section 491 of the Fort Collins Code, 1918, be and the same is hereby amended by adaing to said section the following The proprietor, owner or manager of each shuffle board court where a charge is made for play thereon, shall pay an annual license fee in the sum of $25 00 for three (3) or less playing courts and �5 00 for each addi- tional playing court and the payment of said license fee and the operation of said court or courts shall be as pro- videa in said Ordinance No 8, 1930, concerning public golf courses Section 2 In the opinion of the City Council an emergency exists for the preservation of the public health, peace and safety, and this ordinance shall take effect upon its passage and publication, under and by virtue of the authority contained in Sections 6 and 7 of Article IV of the City Charter Introduced, read at length and adopted by the unani- mous vote of all the memoers of the City Council at a regular meeting held this 6th day of Maj, A D 1932 Zo rmiissioner o 'Safety and Ex- fficio ATTEST Mayor i y Clerk STATE OF COLORADO ) SS COUNTY OF LARIMER ) I, A J ROSENOW, City Clerk of the City of Fort Collins, do hereoy certify and declare that the foregoing Ordinance, consisting of two ( 2) sections, was duly proposed ara read at length at a regular meeting of the City Council held on the 6th day of May, A D 1932, and was duly adopted and ordered published in the Fort Collins Express-Courier, a daily newspaper and the official newspaper of the City of Fort Collins, by the unanimous vote of all members of the City Council, as an Emergency Ordinance, in accordance iiith the provisions of Sections 6 and 7 of Article IV of the City Charter, and thereafter and on to-grit the lOtri day of May, k D 1932, said Ordinance No 3 was duly published in the Fort Collins Express-Courier, a daily newspaper published in the Citt of Fort Collins , Colorado IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hei eunto set my hand and affixed the seal of said City, this loth day of May A D 1932 City Clerk
