BEING AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE AUTH ,NG THE ISSUANCE OF
REGISTERED WARRANTS IN THE TOTAL AMOUNT NOT EXCEEDING 02000*00
AND BEARING INTEREST NOT TO EXCEED 4%. ON ACCOUNT OF AN EMERGENCY
ARISING IN CONNECTION WITH THE REPAIR AND IMPROVEMENT OF A PART
OF THE SANITARY SEWER SYSTEM OF THE CITY
WBEREAS, since the adoption of the annual
appropriation ordinance for the fiscal year ending December
319 1933, an emergency and unforeseen contingency has arisen,
whereby it has become and is necessary to expend not to exceed
the sum of $2000.00 on account of the repair and improvement
of a portion of the sanitary sewer system of the City of Fort
Collins
THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
Section 1. That there be and hereby is appro-
priated out of the moneys accruing to the sewer flushing fund
of the City of Fort Col;ins for the year 1934 and subsequent
years, as may hereafter be directed by the City Council, unless
taken up prior thereto , the sum of Two Thousand ($2000.00) Dollars
on account of the repair and improvement of a portion of the
City's sanitary sewer system, to-wit the construction of a
sewer in an extension of Prospect Street, between the East
property line of College Avenue and the East property line of
Whedbee Street and North on Whedbee Street to the present sewer
on Locust Street, and incidental repairs , changes and better-
ments connected therewith, and registered warrants bearing
interest not to exceed 4% of the City shall be issued to
cover the amount required therefor not to exceed the sum of
Two Thousand ($2000 00) Dollars , the denomination and rate of

interest of said warrants to be as directed by the Com-
missioner of Finance, which said sun, vften this ordinance
shall take effect , shall be credited on the books of the City
Clerk and City Treasurer to Sanitary Sewer System
Section 2 In the opinion of the City
Council an emergency exists for the preservation of the public
health, peace and safety, and this ordinance shall take effect
upon its passage under and by virtue of the authority contained
in Sections 6 and Z of Article IV of the City Charter
Introduced, read at length and adopted by
the unanimous vote of all members of the City Council at a
regular meeting of the City Council, held the 8th day of
December, A D 1933

I, A J ROSENOW, City Clerk of the
City of Fort Collins , do hereby certify and declare that the
aforesaid Ordinance , consisting of two (2) sections, was duly
proposed and read at length at a regular meeting of the City
Council held on the 8th day of December, A D 1933, and was
duly adopted and ordered published in the Fort Collins Express-
Courier, a dilly newspaper and the official newspaper hf the
City of Fort Collins , by the unanimous vote of ail members of
the City Council, as an Emergency Ordinance, in accordance with
the provisions of Sections 6 and 7 of Article IV of the City
Charter, and thereafter and on to-wit the 12th day of
December, A D 1933 , said Ordinance No 7 was duly pub-
lished in the Fort Collins Express-Courier, a daily newspaper
published in the City of Fort Collins, Colorado
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set
my hand and affixed- the seal of said City, this 12th day of
