BEING All EMERGENCY ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE ISSUANCE OF
REGISTERED VARRANTS IN THE TOTAL ATIOUNT NOT EXCEEDING $1500 00
AND BEARING INTEREST NOT TO EXCEED 4%o, ON ACCOUNT OF AN EMERGENCY
ARISING IN CONNECTION WITH THE IMPROVEMENT OF A MUNICIPAL AIRPORT
AND THE RENTAL THEREOF BY THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
WHEREAS , since the adoption of the annual
appropriation ordinance for the fiscal year ending December
311 1934 , an emergency and unforeseen contingency has arisen,
whereby it has become and is necessary to expend not to exceed
the sum of $1500 00 over a period of five ( 5) years , for the
improvement of a municipal airport and the rental thereof for
the City of Fort Collins
THEREFOgE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CIIY OF FORT COLLINS
Section 1. That there be and hereby is appro-
priated out of moneys arising from general taxation and other
sources for the years 1934 , 19352 19369 1937 and 1938 as may
be directed by the City Council, unless sooner paid, the sum
of $1500 00 on account of the improvement of a municipal air-
port and the rentals therefor , and registered warrants bearing
interest not to exceed 4% of the City shall be issued to cover the
amount required therefor not to exceed the sum of $1500 00 , the
denomination and rate of interest of said warrants to be as
directed by the Commissioner of Finance , which said sum when
this ordinance shall take effect , shall be credited on the books
of the City Clerk and City Treasurer to municipal Airport Fund
Section 2 In the opinion of the City Council
an emergency exists for the preservation of the public health,

peace and safety, and this ordinance shall take effect upon
its passage under and by virtue of the authority contained
in Sections 6 and 7 of Article IV of the City Charter
Introduced, read at length and adopted by
the unanimous vote of all members of the City Council at a
regular meeting of the City Council , held the 19th day of
January, A D 1934

aforesaid Ordinance , consisting of two ( 2) sections , was duly
proposed and read at length at a regular meeting of the City
Council held on the 19th day of January, A D 1934, and was
duly adopted and ordered published in the Fort Collins Express-
Courier, a daily newspaper and the official newspaper of the
City of Fort Collins , by the unanimous vote of all members of
the City Council as an Emergency Ordinance , in accordance with
the provisions of Sections 6 and 7 of Article IV of the City
Charter and thereafter and on to-wit the .;7c5'^ day of
January, A D 1954, said Ordinance No 1 was duly published
in the Fort Collins Express-Courier , a daily newspaper published
in the City of rort Collins , Colorado
