BEING AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE RELATING TO CONSTRUCTION OF CONDUITS
WHEN PAID FOR OUT OF THE GENERAL FUNDS OF THE CITY OR FROM THE
PROCEEDS OF THE SALE OF GENERAL OBLIGATION BONDS
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
Section 1. It shall be lawful for the City
Council to order the construction of any conduit to be paid
for out of the general funds of the City, or from the proceeds
of the sale of general obligation bonds
Section 2 That said improvement may be
ordered by the City Council to be done by force account under
the direction of the Commissioner of Works and purchases of
materials and supplies therefor to be made by the Comnissioner
of Finance , all without calling for bids for said work or for
the furnishing of the supplies
Section 3 All ordinances and parts of
ordinances in conflict with this ordinance are hereby repealed
Section 4. In the opinion of the City Council,
an emergency exists for the preservation of the public health,
peace and safety, and this Ordinance shall take effect upon its
passage under and by virtue of the authority contained in
Sections 6 and 7 of Article IY of the City Charter
Introduced , read at length and adopted by the
unanimous vote of all the members of the City Council at a regular
adjourned meeting held this loth day of April, A D 1934.

City of Fort Collins , do hereby certify and declare that the
aforesaid Ordinance, consisting of four (4) sections , was duly
proposed and read at length at a regular adjourned meeting of
the City Council , held on the loth day of April, A D 1934,
and was duly adopted and ordered published in the Fort Collins
Express-Courier, a daily newspaper and the official newspaper
of the City of Fort Collins , by the unanimous vote of all members
of the City Council, as an Emergency Ordinance , in accordance with
the provisions of Sections 6 and 4 of Article IV of the City
Charter, and thereafter and on to-wit the day of April,
A D 1934, said Ordinance No. 6 was duly published in the
Fort Collins Express-Courier, a daily newspaper published in
the City of Fort Collins , Colorado
