BEING "THE ANNUAL APPROPRIATION ORDINANCE," AN EMERGENCY
ORDINANCE RELATING TO THE ANNUAL APPROPRIATIONS FOR THE FIS-
CAL YEAR BEGINNING JANUARY 1, 1946, AND ENDING DECEMBER 31,
19462 AND FIXING THE MILL LEVIES FOR SAID FISCAL YEAR
BE IT ORDAINED BY T`t� CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS
Section 1 That there be and is hereby appropriated
out of the revenues of the City of Fort Collins for the fiscal
year beginning January 1, 1946, and ending December 31 , 1946)
the sum of Two Hundred Thirty-seven Thousand One Hundrea Twenty-
five and thirty hundredths ($237,125 30) Dollars , to be raised
by taxation and otherwise , which said sum is hereby divided and
appropriated for the following purposes, to-wit

Section 2 That for the purpose of providing neces-
sary funds for meeting the appropriations set forth in Section
1 of this Ordinance, the following levies be and are hereby
made upon each aollar of the assessed valuation of all tax-
able property within the corporate limits of the City of Fort
Collins , the same being the amount necessary, together with
estimated miscellaneous receipts , to provide for the payment
of the foregoing appropriations and to meet the payment auring
the fiscal year enaing December 31, 1946, of all properly
authorized demands upon the City Treasurer, to-wit
Local Improvement Districts 575 mills
Refunding Conauit Bonds Sinking Fund 775 mills
Refunding Bonas of 1939 Sinking Fund 515 mills
General Expense 13 135 mills
IT-007 mills
being a total of 15 mills , which levies shall be certified to
the County Assessor ana to the Board of County Commissioners
of Larimer County, Colorado , by the Commissioner of Safety
and Ex-afficio Mayor and the City Clerk, as proviaed by law
Section 3 In the opinion of the City Council an
emergency exists for the preservation of the public health,
peace and safety, ana this Ordinance shall take effect upon
its passage under and by virtue of the authority contained in
Sections 6 and 7 of Article IV of the City Charter
Introduced, read at length, and adopted by the unani-
mous vote of all members of the City Council at a regular meet-
ing, hela this 7th day of December, A D 1945

Ordinance, consisting of three (3) sections , was duly proposed
and read at length at a regular meeting of the City Council,
held on the 7th day of December, A D 1945 , and was auly
adopted ana oraered published in the Fort Collins Coloradoan,
a daily newspaper and the official newspaper of the City of
Fort Collins , by the unanimous vote of all members of the
Council, as an emergency ordinance , in accordance with the
provisions of Sections 6 aiid 7 of Article IV of the City Charter,
and thereafter and on, to-wit the llth day of December,
1945 , was duly publishea in the Fort Collins Coloradoan, a
daily newspaper published in the City of Fort Collins , Colo-
rado
