HE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
Section 1 That Section 3 of Ordinance No 22
of the Series of 1929 be and the same is hereby amended to
read as follows, to-wit
'Section 3 The pipe used in the construction,
maintenance and operation of said Sipe line shall oe
of 8-5/8 inch 0 D steel pipe , 3/8 inch tnick and
i,eighing 33 04 pounds per foot, and at no time shall
it oe ourdened with a pressure oeyond 150 hounds per
square inch, except that during the duration of the
present 'orld 'Jar said pressure may be increased to
not to exceed 500 pounds per square inch "
Section 2 In the opinion of the City Council
an emergency exists for zhe preservation of the public health,
peace and safety, and this Ordinance shall take effect upon
its passage under and by virtue of the authority contained
in Sections 6 and 7 of Article IJ of the City Charter
Introduced, read at length, and adopted by the
unanimous vote of all members of the City Council at a regu-
lar meeting of the City Council, held this 24th day of July,

I, MILES F HOUSE, City Clerk of the City of
Fort Collins, do hereoy certify and declare that the afore-
said Ordinance, consisting of two (2 ) Sections, was duly
proposed ana read at length at a regular meeting of the City
Council, held on the 24th day of July, A D 1942, and vras
duly adopted and ordered published in the Larimer County
Coloradoan, a weekly newspaper and the official newspaper
of the City of Fort Collins, by the unanimous vote of all
memoers of the City Council, as an Emergency Ordinance , in
accordance with the provisions of Sections 6 and 7 of Article
IV of the City Charter, and thereafter and on, to-wit the
30th day of July, A D 1942, said Ordinance No 3
was duly published in the Larimer County Coloradoan, a weekly
newspaper published in the City of Fort Collins, Colorado
