BEING AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE RELATING TO THE TI14E AND PLACE
OF MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL AND REPEALING ORDINANCE NO
8, 1934
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS
Section 1 The regular meeting of the City Council
shall be held at the City Hall on Thursday of each week at
four o 'clock in the afternoon Special meetings of the City
Council may be called by any two members thereof, provided
the call of such special meeting and the subjects to be con-
sidered at said special meeting shall be in writing and signed
by two members of the City Council and filed with the City
Clerk Thereupon, the City Clerk shall immediately give notice
in writing to all members of the City Council of the time of
said special meeting
Section 2 That Ordinance No 8, 1934, is hereby
repealed
Section 3 In the opinion of the City Council an
emergency exists for the preservation of the public health,
peace and safety, and this ordinance shall take effect upon its
passage, under and by virtue of the authority contained in
Sections 6 and 7 of Article IV of the City Charter
Introduced, read at length and adopted by the un-
animous vote of all the members of the City Council at a
regular meeting held this 24th day of January, A D 1947

Fort Collins do hereby certify and declare that the afore-
said Ordinance, consisting of three sections, was duly
proposed and read at length at a regular meeting of the City
Council, held on the 24th day of January A D 1947 and
was duly adopted and ordered published in the Fort Collins
Coloradoan a daily newspaper and official newspaper of
the City of Fort Collins by the unanimous vote of all
members of the City Council, as an Emergency Ordinance in
accordance with the provisions of Sections 6 and 7 of
Article IV of the City Charter, and thereafter and on to-wit
the 28th day of January A D 1947, said Ordinance
No 1 was duly published in the Fort Collins Coloradoan
a daily newspaper published in the City of Fort Collins
Colorado
IN WITNESS IMREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and
affixed the seal of said City this 28th day of January
