BEING AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE RELATING TO THE FIXING OF
SALARIES OF OFFICERS AND EMPLOYEES OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS BY RESOLUTION, AND REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN
CONFLICT HEREWITH
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
Section 1 Until fixed by ordinance the salaries
and wages of all officers and employees of the City of Fort
Collins not fixed by the City Charter shall be fixed by
resolution of the City Council
Section 2 Ordinance No 341 1924, Ordinance No 23,
1929 Ordinance No 6, 1932, Ordinance No 12 1932 and Ordinance
No 16, 1934, and all other ordinances and parts of ordinances
in conflict herewith are hereby repealed
Section 3 In the opinion the City Council an
emergency exists for the preservation of the public health,
peace and safety, and this ordinance shall take effect upon
Its passage, under and by virtue of the authority contained in
Sections 6 and 7 of Article IV of the City Charter
Introduced, read at length and adopted by the unani-
mous vote of all the members of the City Council at a regular
meeting held this 3rd day of April A D 1947

I, MILES F HOUSE, City Clerk of the City of Fort
Collins, do hereby certify and declare that the aforesaid
Ordinance, consisting of three sections, was duly proposed
and read at length at a regular meeting of the City Council
held on the 3rd day of April, A D 1947, and was duly
adopted and ordered published in the Fort Collins Coloradoan,
a daily newspaper and official newspaper of the City of Fort
Collins, by the unanimous vote of all members of the City
Council as an Emergency Ordinance, in accordance with the
provisions of Sections 6 and 7 of Article IV of the City
Charter, and thereafter and on, to-wit the 8th day of
April , A D 1947, said Ordinance No 6 was
duly published in the Fort Collins Coloradoan, a daily news-
paper published in the City of Fort Collins, Colorado
IN WITNESS I-MEREOF I have hereunto set my hand and
affixed the seal of said City, this 8th day of _ April
