BEING AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE, AMENDING ORDINANCE NO 7, 1939
FIXING THE BOUNDARIES OF ELECTION PRECINCTS IN THE CITY OF
FORT COLLINS, PROVIDING THAT REGISTRATION AND CHANGE OF RESI-
DENCE OF ELECTORS SHALL BE MADE IN THE OFFICE OF THE CITY
CLERK, REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH, AND
DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
Section 1 That Section 3 of Ordinance No 7 of
the Series of 1939 of the City of Fort Collins be and the same
is hereby amended so far as Precinct "D-2" and Precinct "E-1"
are affected, by removing from the boundaries of Precinct "D-2"
Blocks 177, 187, and 197 in the City of Fort Collins, Colorado,
and by extending the boundaries of Precinct "E-1" to include
said Blocks 177, 187, and 197 in the City of Fort Collins,
Colorado
Section 2 All ordinances and parts of ordinances
in conflict herewith are hereby repealed
Section 3 In the opinion of the City Council an
emergency exists for the preservation of the public health,
peace and safety, and this Ordinance shall take effect upon
its passage under and by virtue of the authority contained in
Sections 6 and 7 of Article IV of the City Charter
Introduced, read at length, and adopted by the
unanimous vote of all members of the City Council at a regular
meeting, held this 6th day of November, A D 1947

I, Miles F House, City Clerk of the City of Fort
Collins, do hereby certify and declare that the foregoing
Ordinance, consisting of three sections, was duly proposed
and read at length at a regular meeting of the City Council,
held on the 6th day of November, A D 1947, and was duly
adopted and ordered published in the Fort Collins Coloradoan,
a daily newspaper and the official newspaper of the City of
Fort Collins, by the unanimous vote of all members of the
Council, as an emergency ordinance, in accordance with the
provisions of Sections 6 and 7 of Article IV of the City
Charter, and thereafter, and on to-wit the llth day of
November, 1947, was duly published in the Fort Collins
Coloradoan, a daily newspaper published in the City of Fort
Collins, Colorado
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand
