BEING AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO 10, 1929,
AS AMENDED, BEING AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE TO REGULATE AND RESTRICT
THE LOCATIONS OF BUILDINGS AND STRUCTURES, AND THE USE OF BUILD-
INGS AND STRUCTURES, AND TO DIVIDE THE CITY INTO GERTAIN DIS-
TRICTS, COHMONLY KNOWN AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE, AND CHANGING
BLOCKS 8 AND 11 , SCOTT-SHERWOOD ADDITION TO THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS TO "B" RESIDENCE DISTRICT, AND MAKING THE EAST HALF OF
BLOCK 91 SCOT'ILSHERWOOD ADDITION TO THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS,
ACCORDING TO THE PLAT FILED ON MAY 121 1944, A PART OF THE
ZONING DISTRICT MAP AND A "B" RESIDENCE DISTRICT
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
That Ordinance No 10 of the Series of 1929 as amended ,
being an emergency ordinance to regulate and restrict the loca-
tions of buildings and structures and the use of buildings and
structures and land, the height and size of buildings and other
structures , the area and dimensions of open space in building
lots , the density of population, and for said purpose to divide
the City into districts, and the zoning map adopted in connec-
tion therewith, be and the same is hereby amenaed by adding to
Section II, entitled "Zoning District Regulations ," the follow-
ing, to-wit
Section 1 The zoning district map heretofore adopted
and declared to be a part of this Ordinance shall be changed and
amended and is hereby changed ana amended so that Blocks 8 and
11 of Scott-Sherwood Addition to the City of Fort Collins shall
be taken from "A" Residence District and put into and made a
part of "B" Resiaence District
Section 2 That the East Half of Block 9, Scott-
Sherwood Addition to the City of Fort Collins , accoraing to the
Plat filed on May 12, 1944, and all the territory embraced therein,
heretofore annexed to and made a part of the City of Fort Collins,
be and the same is hereby put into ana made a part of "BT1 Resi-
dence District
Section 3 That the City Engineer shall forthwith
amend the original zoning district map in compliance with the
amendments and changes herein established
Section 4 All ordinances and parts of ordinances
in conflict with this ordinance are hereby repealed
Section 5 In the opinion of the City Council an
emergency exists for the preservation of the public health,
peace and safety, and this ordinance shall take effect upon
its passage and publication under and by virtue of the author-
ity contained in Sections 6 and 7 of Article IV of the City
Charter
Introauced, read at length and adopted by the unani-
mous vote of all the members of the City Council at a regular
meeting held this 15th day of March, A D 1946

I, MILES F HOUSE, City Clerk of the City of Fort
Collins, do hereby certify and declare that the foregoing
Ordinance, consisting of five sections , was duly proposed and
read at length at a regular meeting of the City Council, held
on the 15th day of March, A D 1946, and was duly adopted and
ordered published in the Fort Collins Coloradoan, a daily news-
paper and the official newspaper of the City of Fort Collins ,
by the unanimous vote of all members of the City Council as an
emergency ordinance, in accordance with the provisions of Sec-
tions 6 and 7 of Article IV of the City Charter, and thereafter
and on, to-wit the k4th day of March, A D 1946, said
Ordinance No 3 was duly published in the Fort Collins
Coloradoan„ a daily newspaper published in the City of Fort
Collins, Colorado
