BEING AN EIERGENCY ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO 302 19241
AS AIENDED, RELATING TO THE BUILDING CODE FOR THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS, PROVIDING RULES AND REGULATIONS THEREUNDER AND PENAL-
TIES FOR VIOLATION THEREOF
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
Section 1 That Section 313 of Part XXXI of Ordinance
No 30 of Series of 1924 be and the same is hereby amended to
read as follows, to-wit
"Section 313 Expiration--Conditions--Not Transfer-
able
"All licenses issued under or pursuant to this
ordinance shall expire on December 31st of each fiscal year
Any annual fee provided in this ordinance shall be the same
for a full fiscal year or any part of a fiscal year And no
license issued under or pursuant to this ordinance shall be
transferable
No license or permit shall issue to any person, firm
or corporation aesiring to engage or engaged in the business
of installing electrical wiring, appliances or electrical
apparatus, or as master plumber, as defined in this ordinance,
unless the applicant therefor has a permanent place of business
in a commercial or industrial district of the City as defined
in the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Fort Collins, and such
license or permit shall be immediately revoked upon failure
to retain said permanent place of business or withdrawal or
suspension of the applicant' s bond "
Section 2 In the opinion of the City Council an
emergency exists for the preservation of the public health,
peace and safety, and this ordinance shall take effect upon
its passage under and by virtue of the authority contained in
Sections 6 and 7 of Article IV of the City Charter
Introduced, read at length, and adopted by the unani-
mous vote of all members of the City Council at a regular meet-
ing of the City Council, held this 27th day of December, A D
1946

I, MILES F HOUSE, City Clerk of the City of Fort
Collins, do hereby certify and declare that the aforesaid
Ordinance, consisting of two Sections, was duly proposed and
read at length at a regular meeting of the City Council, held
on the 27th day of December, A D 1946, and was auly aaopted
and ordered published in-,the Fort Collins Coloradoan, a daily
newspaper and official newspaper of the City of Fort Collins,
by the unanimous vote of all members of the City Council, as
an Emergency Ordinance, in accordance with the provisions of
Sections 6 and 7 of Article IV of the City Charter, and there-
after and on, to-wit the 31st day of December , A D
1946, said Ordinance No 8 was duly published in the Fort
Collins Coloradoan, a daily newspaper published in the City of
Fort Collins, Colorado
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and
