BEING AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO 30 1924 AS
AMENDED RELATING TO THE BUILDING CODE FOR THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
PROVIDING RULES AND REGULATIONS THEREUNDER, PENALTIES FOR VIOLATION
THEREOF AND REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES AND PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN
CONFLICT HEREWITH
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS
Section 1 That Section 1 of Ordinance No 8 1946
amending Section 313 of Part XXXI of Ordinance No 30 1924 be and
the same is hereby amended by adding thereto Section 313-A to read
as follows to-wit
"Section 313-A Examinations - Fee
Where examinations are required before the
issuance or renewal of any license under this
ordinance the applicant shall pay to the City
Clerk an examination fee of $5 00 before taking
such examination and said fee shall be in addition
to all other fees herein charged After payment
said fee shall not be refunded under any circum-
stances "
Section 2 All ordinances and parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith are hereby repealed
Section 3 In the opinion of the City Council an emer-
gency exists for the preservation of the public health peace and
safety and this ordinance shall take effect upon its passage under
and by virtue of the authority contained in Sections 6 and 7 of
Article IV of the City Charter
Introduced read at length and adopted by the unanimous
vote of all members of the City Council at a regular adjourned
meeting of the City Council held this 13th day of February A D

Ordinance, consisting of three Sections was duly proposed and
ad ourned
read at length at a regular meeting of the City Council held
on the 13th day of February A D 1948, and was duly adopted
and ordered published in the Fort Collins Coloradoan a daily
newspaper and official newspaper of the City of Fort Collins ,
by the unanimous vote of all members of the City Council, as an
Emergency Ordinance in accordance with the provisions of Sec-
tions 6 and 7 of Article IV of the City Charter, and thereafter
and on to-wit the 171hday of February A D 1948 said
Ordinance No 1 was duly published in the Fort Collins Coloradoan,
a daily newspaper published in the City of Fort Collins Colorado
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and
affixed the seal of said City this 17th day of February A D
