HomeMy WebLinkAbout003 - 04/22/1948 - AMENDING THOSE PARTS OF SECTION 1 OF ORDINANCE NO. 012, 1947 AND SECTION 8 OF ORDINANCE NO. 013, 194 ti ORDINANCE NO 3 1948 BEING AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE AMMENDING THOSE PARTS OF SECTION 1 OF ORDINANCE NO 12, 1947 AND OF SECTION 8 OF ORDINANCE NO 139 1947 RELATING TO INTERRUPTIBLE INDUSTRIAL NATURAL GAS SERVICE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS Section 1 That those parts of Section 1 of Ordinance 12, 1947 and of Section 8 of Ordinance 13, 1947 relating to Interruptible Industrial Service be ammended to read as follows INTERRUPTIBLE INDUSTRIAL SERVICE Off-Peak Service - Complete and Adequate Standby Required Applicability Applicable to Industrial and Large Commercial Service where Com- pany has available a supply of gas in excess of that required for service to higher priority customers and where customer has complied with the standby requirements of the rate as set forth in the Indus- trial Gas Service Rules and Regulations and in the individual agree- ment between customer and Company Rate First 10,000 cubic feet or less used per month $10 00 Next 40,000 cubic feet used per month, per 1000 cubic feet 50 Next 50,000 cubic feet used per month, per 1000 cubic feet 35 Next 200,000 cubic feet used per month, Der 1000 cubic feet 25 All additional cubic feet used per month, per 1000 cubic feet 20 Plus, an On-Peak Demand Charge for the maximum Daily On-Peak use of gas occurring during the twelve months' period ending with the current month, Der 1000 cubic feet $ 27 00 The Demand Charge payable per month for On-Peak gas used shall be one-t% elfth (1/12) of the total Demand Charge determined above In calculating the bill for gas service the volume of gas as registered on the meter shall be adjusted to a volume based on sixty degrees Fahrenheit and at a pressure of four ounces per square inch above average atmospheric pressure Minimum Net minimum charge per customer, per year $500 00 Ac� - 2 - INTERIMPTIBLE INDUSTRIAL SERVICE - (cont'd) Contract Period All contracts hereunder shall be for a minimum period of one year or for such longer periods as may be specified in the individual agreement Section 2 The foregoing schedule supersedes the schedule pertaining to Interruptible Industrial Service in Section 1 of Ordinance No 12, 1947 and Section 8 of Ordinance No 13, 1947 and said schedule in said ordinances is hereby repealed Section 3 In the opinion of the City Council an emergency exists for the preservation of the public health, peace and safety and this ordinance shall take effect upon its passage and publica- tion under and by virtue of the authority contained in Section 6 and 7 of Article 4 of the City Charter Introduced, read at length and adopted by the un- animous vote of all the members of the City Council this 22nchay of April, A D 1948 Co ssioner o Public Afety and Health and ex-officio Mayor ATTEST City Clerk 1� STATE OF COLORADO, ) ss County of Larimer ) I, MILES F HOUSE, City Clerk of the City of Fort Collins, do hereby certify and declare that the aforesaid Ordinance, consist- ing of four sections, was duly proposed and read at length at a regu- lar meeting of the City Council, held on theor22nd day of Apaai, A,.D 1948, and was duly adopted and ordered published in The Fort Collins Coloradoan, a daily newspaper, and official newspaper of the City of Fort Collins, by the unanimous vote of all members of the City Council, as an Emergency Ordinance, in accordance with the provisions of Sections 6 and 7 of Article IV of the City Charter, and thereafter and on, to-wit the 28thday of April, A D 1948, the said Ordinance No 3 was duly published in the Fort Collins Coloradoan, a daily newspaper published in the City of Fort Collins, Colorado IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and affixed the seal of said City, this 28th day of April, A D 1948 / ity Clerk
