BEING AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 1 OF ORDINANCE NO. 25,
1920 , RELATING TO SCPEDULE OF RATES P_U` HORI7ED TO BE CHARG-
ED BY THE POUDRE VALLEY GAS COIg'ANY FOR GAS WITHIN THE COR-
PORATE LIMITS OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS, COLORADO.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUI4CIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS-
Section 1. That Section 1 of Ordinance No. 21-5,
1920 , being an emergency ordinance relating to the schedule of
rates authorized to be charged by the Poudre valley Gas Company
for gas within the corporate limits of the City of Fort Collins,
be and the same is hereby amended so as to read as follows:
"Section 1. The Poudre Vailey Gas Company, suc-
cessor in interest of the grantee unxer Ordinance No. 6, 1904,
may and shall charge not to exceed the following rates for gas
consumed within the corporate limits of The City of Fort Collins ,
subject to the rules and regulations hereinafter provided:
Illuminating and Fuel Gas.
First 200 cubic feet , § .85 gross, §. 75 net;
ivext 2800 cubic feet , 154 ress, 14 d net per 1uJ cubic feet;
Next 2000 cubic feet , 14t ggross , 11 g( net per 100 cubic feat ;
Next 5000 cubic feet , 14_d ggrose, 13 net per 100 cubic feet ;
Next 10,000 cubic feet , 13-� 9f gross , I , dnet per 100 cubic feet ;
Next 10 ,000 cubic feet , 13 j gross, 12 net per 160 cubic feet;
Excess of 30 ,000 cubic feet , 12 0 gross , ll o net per 1JO cubic feet;
Rate for prepayment meters 1712 i per 100 cubic feet net , with mini-
mum charge of 75 ¢ on each meter .
:dinimum Monthly Guarantee.
Minimum charge for five light meters - 85 d grose - % $ net , per
month per meter;
Ten light meters 41. 10 gross - net §I.00 per month per meter;
Twenty light meters or larger _ 41.35 gross; 41.25 net per month
per meter.
Prompt Payment Discount .
Payment of bill for preceding month on or before
the loth of the next succeeding month entitles consumer to net
rate. If paid after the loth then the gross rate applies. No
discount on gas sold ihru prepayment meters.
Industrial Rate.
Industrial rate by contract may be obtained by
special contract for period of not less than six mon�hs, 4P'2. 00
readiness to serve charge plus charge of 41.00 per 1000 cubic
feet for gas consumed with a monthly minimum of §62. 00.
Rules and Regulations.
No meter will be connected for less than a three
months' period. The company shall have the privilege of demand-
ing the minimum for said period in advance, if deemed necessary.
Consumers delinquent for sixty days from date of
bill shall be disconnected from the company' s service lines
without notice. The company may, if deemed necessary, when any
consumer is delinquent more than ten days, discontinue the ser-
vice after giving twenty-four Hours notice .
The foregoing rates shall become effective March
25 , 1522. "
Section 2. All ordinances and parts of ordinances
in conflict with this ordinance are hereby repealed.

nance consisting of two (2) sections, was auly proposed and read
at length at a regular meeting of the City Council held on the
=th day of aarch, A.U. 1922, and was duly ordered by aye and nay
vote to be published once in full in the Fort Collins Courier, a
:ally newspaper of the City of Fort Collins, in accordance with
the provisions of Section 7 of Article IV of the City Charter;
that thereafter and on,towit : the day of March, A.D. 1922,
at a regular meeting of the City Council the said Ordinance
came before said council uron its final passage, a period of
more than ten days having elapsed since its publication as above
set forth, and that said Ordinance was upon second reading adopt-
ed as an ordinance , and thereafter and on towit : the -�-' /'day of
larch, A.D. 1922 , said Ordinance No. 5 , as finally passed and
adopted was duly published in The Fort Collins Courier , a daily
newspaper published in the said City of Fort Collins, Colorado.
