BEING AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE RELATING TO THE EXTENSION OF THE CORPORATE BOUNDARIES OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLIiIS SO AS TO INCLUDE WITHIN TFE CORPORATE LIMITS THE CITY PARK, PROSPECT PARK AND GRAND VIEW CEMETERY. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF T4E CITY OF FORT COLLINS Section 1. That the corporate boundaries of the City of Fort Collins are hereby extended so as to include within the corporate limits of said City, the City Park, Prospect Park, and all that eighty (80) acre tract of land descrioed as the west Half (W2) of the Southwest Quarter (SW4) of Section ten (10) . Township Seven (7) North of Range sixty-nine (69) West of the 6th Principal Meridian, and embracing within its boundaries what is known as Grand Viec'-V�emetery, and upon the taking effect of this ordinance the exterior boundaries of the City Park, Prospect Park and that tract of land embracing Grand View Cemetery are hereby defined as the corporate limits of said City, and the said parks and cemetery grounds shall be under the exclusive juriddiction of the City of Fort Collins aad subject to all the terms and provisions of the City Charter and all the ordinances now in force relating to the protection of life, health and property, as well as all ordinances hereafter adopted by the City Council relating to the same subjects, as well as those providing for the abatement and removal of ni.isances, preservation and promotion of good government , order, security, amusement , and the general welfare of said City to the same extent and same effect as though said properties had been originally included under the provisions of Article 1 in Section 1 of the City Charter of the City of Fort Collins. Section 2. In the opinior of the City Council an emergency exists for the preservation of the public health, 7 � 4 peace and safety, and this ordinance shall take effect upon its passage and publication under and by virtue of the authority contained in Sections 6 and 7 of Article IV of the City Charter . ROSEFOW, City Clerk of the City of Fort Collins, do herebb certify and declare that the foregoing ordi- nance, consisting of two (2) sections, was duly proposed and read at length at a regular meeting of the City Council held on the 6th day of May, 1922, and was duly adopted and ordered pub- lished in the Fort Collins ems, a daily newspaper and the official newspaper of the City of Fort Collins, by the unanimous vote of all members of the Council, as an emergency ordinance, in accordance with the provisions of Sections 6 and 7 of Article IVi of the City Charter, and trereafter, on to-wit , the _ day of 1922, said Ordinance No. /4 Co✓!'�e r� was duly published in the Fort Collins , a daily news- paper published in the City of Fort Collins, Colorado.
