HomeMy WebLinkAbout011 - 05/20/1922 - RELATING TO ROOF DRAINAGE ON BUILDINGS WITHIN THE LIMITS OF THE CITY (EMERGENCY ORDINANCE) f ORDINANCE N0. » , 192a, RELTING TO ROOF DRAINAGE ON BUILDINGS WITHIN THE LIMITS OF THE BUSINESS DISTRICT WITHIN THE CORPORATE LIMITS OF THE CITY OF FORT Q,LINS, COLORARO, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS Section 1. That all new buildings hereafter erected within the limits of the business district in the City of Fort (,ollins shall be required to connect all down pipes therefrom carrying run-off from the roofs of said buildings with the storm sewers, and that owners of existing buildings within said busines& district shall be required to connect down pipes carrying run-off from roofs of buildings when so ordered by resolution of the City Council pursuant to the provisions of Section 26 of Ordinance No. 7, 19,d1, relating to sewers, gas and water connections, where street improve- ments will effect said builaings later in the matter of connecting with storm sewers. Section 2. Any person or persons or association violating any of the provisions of this ordinance or any order or resolution of the City Council duly made under the provisions hereof, shall upon conviction pay a fine of not less than ten (§10 00) dollars nor more than three hundred (Va00.00) dollars, and each twenty-four hours of failure to comply with the provisions of this ordinance shall con- stitute a separate offense and be subject to the penalty herein proviaea.
