HomeMy WebLinkAbout024 - 08/26/1922 - AMENDING THAT PART OF SECTION 1 OF ORDINANCE NO. 021, 1922, FIXING AND ESTABLISHING THE GRADES OF HO ORDINANCE NO. -d-, 1922 BEING AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE AMENDING THAT PART OF SECTION 1 OF ORDINANCE NO, 21, 1921, FIXING AND ESTABLISHING THE GRADES OF MIESr-STREET FROM THE NORTH PROPERTY LINE OF LAUREL STREET TO THE SOUTH PROPERTY LINE OF T40UNTAIN AVENUE. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS: Section 1. That part of Section 1 of Ordinance No. 21, 1921, fixing and establishing the grades of Howes Street from the North property line of Laurel Street to the South property line of Mountain Avenue, be and the same is hereby amended so as to read as follows ' "Section 1. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict with this ordinance are hereby repealed. Section 3. In the opinion of the City Council an emergency exists for the preservation of the public health, peace and safety, and this ordinance shall take effect upon its passage and publication raider and by virtue of the aut'iority contained in Sections 6 and 7 of Article IP of the City Charter. ROSENOW, City Clerk of Fort Collins, do hereby certify and declare that the foregoing ordinance consisting of three (3) sectiors, was duly proposed and read at length at a regular meeting of the City Council held on the 26th day of August, 1922, and was duly adopted and ordered published in the Fort Collins Courier, a daily newspaper and the official newspaper of the City of Fort Collins, by the unanimous vote of all members of the Council, as an emergency ordinance, in accordance with the provisions of Sections 6 and 7 of Article IV of the City Charter, and thereafter, on town, the &W of August, 1922, said Ordinance No was duly published in the Fort Collins Cmarier, a daily newspaper published in the City of Fort Collins, Colorado .
