HomeMy WebLinkAbout025 - 10/21/1922 - RELATING TO THE CREATION OF A PUBLIC ALLEY IN MORGER-SMITH SUBDIVISION AND PROVIDING FOR THE OPENING ORDIi1ANCE NO 21, 1922 RELATING TO TF1 CREATIOY OF A PUBLIC ALLEY IN MORGER-SIAITH SUBDIVISION TO THE CI"'Y OF FORT COLLI0, AND PROVIDITIG FOR TC OPMTI!dG OF TIM SAFE FOR PUBLIC USE TII4 4.s, The City of Fort Collins has acquired title to the following parcel of land situate in the Morger-Smith Subdivision for the purpose of creating a public alley and ordering the some open to public use, towit Beginning on the west property line of Mack Street 190 feet North of the North property line of Mountain Avenue, thence west 415 feet, thence north 20 feet, thence east 415 feet, trance south 20 feet to the point of beginning, therefore BE IT CPDAIITED BY TIE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS Section 1 Tnat a strip of land described as follows Beginning on the west property line of Mack Street 190 feet North of the North property line of Mountain Avenue, thence west 415 feet, thence north 20 feet, thence east 415 feet, thence soutn 20 feet to the point of beginning, situated in the Idorger-Smith Subdivision of the City of Fort Collins, be and hereby is declared to constitute a public alley for the use of the general public Section 2 That upon the taking effect of this ordinance the Commissioner of Public Works be end he is hereby authorized and directed to caase said strip of land described in Section 1 of this ordinance, to be opened as an alley for public use and to caase t%e same to be put in good travel condition for said purpose. Introdv ced, read and ordered published this 30tn day of September, A D 1922 Passed and adopted at a regular meeting of the City Coancil this day of October, A D 1922 Co issioner of Safety q& Ex-Officlo Mayor ATTEST City Clerk STATE OF COLORAIO ) SS COUNTY OF LARI1TER ) I, A J ROSENOW, City C;m rk of the City of Fort Collins, do hereby certify and declare the foregoing ordinance, consisting of two (2) sections, was duly proposed and read at length at a regular meeting of the City Council held on the 30th day of September, 1922, and was duly ordered by aye and nay vote to be published once in full in The Fort Collins Courier, a deily ne ispaper of the City of Fort Collins, in accordance with the provisions of Section 7 of Article IV of the City S f' Cbartdr, tha* thereafter and on towit, the cl/T day of at a regular westing of the City Council, the said Ordinance came before said Council upon its final passage, a reriod of more than ten days nerving elapsed since its publication as aoove set forth, and that said Ordinance was upon secolid reading adopted as an ordinance, and thereafter and on towit the rday of October, 1922, said Ordinance No 5� as finally passed andadopted was duly published in the Fort Collins Courier, a daily newspaper published in the City of fort Collins, Colorado , IN WITLESS ITJZREOF, I have hereunto set my nand this T ' day of �G � P�� A D 1922.
