BEI 'G AN M1ERGENCY ORDIIANCE FIXING AND ESTABLISHING THE GRADES ON
NORTH SHERWOOD STREET FROM THE NORTH PROPERTY LI17 OF 1 ST MOUNTAIN
AVENUE TO THF, SOUTH CURB LINE OF LAPORTE AVENUE, IN THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS, COLORADO.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLII!S:
Section 1. The grades for North Sherwood Street from the North
property line of west Mountain Avenue to the South curb line of Laporte
Avenue are hereby fixed and established, and declared to be as follows:
All cantor line grades s'rall be raised six-tenths of a foot
above those given for dirt or gravel improvement.
All elevations are referred to City Datum B. 11. 104.76, at the
intersection of the walks on the corner of College Avenue and Oak Street
at the postoffice corner.
At Station 0 plus 00 *ich is the north property line of West
Mountain Avenvo, the west walk 120.55; nest curb 119.75; unrest gutter 118.95;
center line 119.92; east gutter 118.79; east curb 119.59; east walk 120.12;
at Station 1 plus 69 which is the North property line of alley to east, west
walk 119.52;, west curb 119.12; west gutter 118.32; center line 118.96; east
gutter 118.01; east curb 118.81; east walk 119.17; from Station 1 plus 69
to 2 plus 71, all grades are on a vertical, radial curVe; at Station 2 plus
71, the west walk 118.10; west curb 117.71; west gutter 116.91; center
line 117.50; east gutter 116.50; east curb 117.30; east walk 117.60; at
Station 4 plus 25, west walk 114.38; west curb 114.08; west gutter 113.28;
center line 113.76; -east gutter 112.65; east curb 113.45; east walk 113475;
from Station 4 plus 25 to 5 plus 25, all grades are on a vertical, radial
carve; at Station 5 plus 25, west walk 112.70; west curb 112.33; west
gutter 111.53; center line 112.12; east gutter 111.12; east curb 111.92;
east walk 112.22; at Station 5 plus 75 which is the south property line of
Laporte Avenue, west walk 112.20; west gutter 110.96; center line 111.70;
east gutter 110.84; east walk 111.94; at Station 5 plus 95 which is the
south curb line of Laporte Avenue, ;vest curb 111.53; east eurb 111.53.
Sectior 2 All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict with
this ordinance are hereby repealed
Sectie 3 In the opinion of the City Council an emergency
exis s for the preservation of the public realth, peace and safety, and
this ordinance stall take effect uroon its passage and publication under
and by virtue of the authority contained in Sections 6 and 7 of Article IV
of the City Charter
Introduced, read at length and adopted by the unanimous vote of
all the members of the City Council this 28th day of July, A D 1923
