PROHIBITING THE SALE OF CERTAIN HINDS OF EyPLOSIVES ADTD TTT DISCHARGE
THEREOF WITHIN THE CORPORATE LIMITS OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLIYS
Section 1 The selling or keeping for sale of fire-crackers,
squibs, Roman candles or any fora of fireworks or other combustible
material used for fireworks is hereby prohibited within the corporate
limits of the City of Fort Collins
Section 2 The firing of any cannon gun, fowling piece,
pistol, or firearm of any descriution, or the explosion of any squibs,
crackers, Roman candles rockets or other thing containing powder
other combustible matter or explosive material is hereby prohibited
within the corporate limits of the City of Fort Collins, providing
permission may be obtained from the Commissioner of Safety and Exofficio
Mayor for the shooting of firearms for the removal and elimination of
dove®, sparrows or other bird or animal that may become public nuisances
which permit shall be limited as to person, time and place by the
Commissioner of Safety and Exofficio Mayor and provided, farther, that
this section shall not be held to prohibit e hibitions of fireworks given
under the authority and control of the City on the Fourth day of July
or any public holiday at any public park within the corporate limits of
the C i ty
Section 3 All ordinances and harts of ordinances in conflict
with this ordinance are hereby repealed provided that any causes of
action *ich shall have accrued in favor of the City of Fort Collins
prior to the taking effect of tais repeal may be prosecuted by said
City to the same effect as though no repeal had been made
Section 4 Any person who shall violate any of the provisions
of this ordinance shall upon conviction be fined in any sum not less than
Five Dollars nor more than One Handrsd Dollars for each offense, and cos+s
of suit
