HomeMy WebLinkAbout024 - 08/18/1923 - AMENDING SECTION 3 OF ORDINANCE NO. 023, 1920, RELATING TO AMUSEMENTS � x ORDINANCE NO 1943 BEING AN ORDINANCE AMENDING• SECTION TMM OF ORDINANCE NO 230 1920, RELATING TO AMUSEMENTS, PASSED AND ADOPTED JUNE 26, 1920 BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS: Section 1 That Section 3 of Ordinance No 23, 1920, relating to amusements, the some being an amendment of Section 491 of the Fort Collins Coda, 19182 be and the same is hereby amended so as to read as follows! As to the amusements expressly named there-in "Section 3 The license fees to be charged as provided in Section 1 of Ordinance No 23, 192D shall be as follows All theaters, opera houses, skating rinks and public buildings where theatrical, slight-of-hand, musical or other entertainments shall be given the proprietor, owner or manager shall pay the am of Sixty ($60 00) Dollars per anmm Ina in advance For all circuses, menageries, or circuses and menageries combined with all its property, equipment and supplies of every kind used for its transportation, where not over forty (40) cars are used the license fee shall be not lose than Fifty ($50 00) Dollars for each day nor more than One Hundred ($100 00) Dollars for each &Wv and for each railroad car or used oocXrIeA/by said show in excess of forty (40) cars, Two Dollars and fifty cents ($2 50) per day per car " Section 2 All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict with this ordinance are hereby repealed Introduced, read and ordered published this 4th day of August, A D 1923 Passed and adopted this /8 day of August, A D 19239 ATTEST /Commissioner of Safety dnd R Officio Mayor v City Clerk i STATE of COLORADO COUNTY OF LARnM ) I, A J aosenow, City Clerk of the City of Fort Collins, do bereby certify and declare that the foregoing ordinance consisting of two (2) sections, duly proposed and read at length at a meeting of the City Council held on the 4th day of August 1923, was duly ordered by aye and nay vote to be published in the Fort Collins Courier, a daily newspaper of the City of Fort Collins, in accordance with the provisions of Section 7 of Article IY of the City Charter, that tbereafter and on, towit the �8 day of August, 1923, at a regular meeting of the City Council, said ordinance came before said Council on its final passage, a period of more than ten daps having elapsed since the publication as above set forth, and that said ordinance was upon second reading adopted as an ordinance, and tbereafter and on, towit, then day of August, 19232, said Ordinance No 2 7/ as finally passed and adopted, was duly published in the Fort Collins Courier, a daily newspaper published in the City of Fort Collins, Colorado / IN WITNESS WU MNv I have hereunto set my head this 2 day of August, 1923 City Clerk
