BEING AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE FIRING AND ESTABLISHING THE GRADES
ON SOUTH WHITCOMB STREET FROM THE SOUTH CURB LLB OF OAS STREET
TO THE NORTH CURB LINE OF LAUREL STREET IN THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS, COLORADO
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
Section 1 The grades for South j1h1tcomb Street from the
south curb line of Oak Street to the north curb line of Laurel Street
are hereby fixed and established and declared to be as follows
All center line grades shall be raised six-tenths of a
foot above those given for dirt or grabel improvement
All elevations are referred to City Datum B M 104 76
at the intersection of the walks on the corner of College Avenue and
Oak Street at the postoffice corner
At station 4 plus 80 which is the south curb line of Oak

Section 2 All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict
with this ordinance are hereby repealed
Section 3 In the opinion of the City Council an emergency
exists for the preservation of the public health, peace and safety, and
this ordinance shall take effect upon its passage and publication under and
by virtue of the autrority contained in Section s 6 and 7 of Article IV of
the City Charter

do hereby certify and declare that the foregoing ordinance, consisting of
three (3) sections was duly proposed and read at length at a regular
meeting of the City Council held on the 25th day of August, A D 1923,
and was dully adopted and ordered published in the Fort Collins Express-
Courier, a daily newspaper and the official newspaper of the City of
Fort Collins, by the unanimous vote of all members of the Council, ae
an emergency ordinance, in accordance with the provisions of Sections 6
lwy—
and 7 of Article IY of the City Charter, and thereafter towit the
day of August, A D 1923, said Ordinance No -2 4 was duly published in
the Fort Col ins Express-Courier, a daily newspaper published in the City
of Fort Collins, Colorado
