BEITG AN EMERG"NCY ORDILANCE XMATIIvG TO PUBLIC I-MALTH
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE ^ITY CGIP CIL OV TT-E CITY k-F FOPT COLLINS
Sectior 1 The keeping or mainta4zing of any vault, closet,
privy or cesspool within any sanitary sewer district within the
corporate limits of the Pity of Fort Col ins is hereby prohibited
Section 2 The owner or owners of any bui�ding located in
any sanitary ewer district or on blocks abutting on any established
sewer are hereby regazred to connect with sach sewer
Section 3 Any person or persons who shall violate or fail
to comply with any of the provisions of this ordinance, or any
regulations of the Board of Health or orders of the Health efficer
made thereunder respectirg compliance with the nrovisions of tnis
ordinance shall upon conviction be fined in any sum not exceeding
One Hundred ($100 ) Dollars and costs of suit
Section 4 In the opinion of the City Council an emergency
exists for the preservation of the public health, peace and safety, and
this ordinance shall take effect upon its passage and publication under
and by virtue of the authority contained in Sections 6 and 7 of Article
IV of the City Chatter
Introduced read at length and adorted by the ananiraous vote of
all the nembers of the City Council this 15th day of September, A D 1923

ordinance in accordance with the provisic-is of Sections 6 and 7 of
