BEING AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 9 OF ORDINANCE Iv0 7, 1920,
TO REGULATE THE USE HANDLING AND SALE OF INFLAMHABLE LIQUIDS AND THE
PRODUCTS THEREOF, WITHIN THE CORPORATE LII"fImS OF TIE; CITY OF FORT COLLIiIS
BE IT ORDAINED BY TdE CITY COUNCIL OF THC CITY OF FORT COLLIi7S
Section 1 That Section 9 of Ordinance No 7, 1920, being an
emergency ordinance to regulate the use, handling, storage and sale of
inflammable liquids and the products thereof, within the corporate limits
of the City of Fort Collins, be amended by adding thereto and becoming a
part thereof the following clause "That in the matter of construction and
installation of oil burning equipment within the corporate limits of the
City of Fort Collins that the regulations of the National Board of Fire
'Underwriters, as shovm by the editiontof 1922 be and the same are hereby
adopted and shall be controlling in the issuing of permits for the
installation of fuel oil tanks within the corporate limits of the City
of Fort Collins "
Section 2 In the opinion of the City Council an emergency
exists for the preservation of the public health, peace and safety, and
this ordinance shall take ef`ect upon its passage and publication under
and by virtue of the authority contained in Sections 6 and 7 of Article
IV of the City Charter
