SECTION 32.
BE IT ORDAINED BY TER' CITY COUNCIL OF TH7 CITY OF FORT COLLII'S:
Section 1. That Ordinance No. 10, 1919, being an
emergency ordinance relating to +meter works be amended by adding thereto
a raw section to be known as Soction 32, as follows:
"Section 32. That any and all delinquent payments for
water rent or other services wIldch will accrue on the Iroperty and premises
upon which water service has been rendered, and other services in connection
therewith or any purpose whatever connected with the service of wager,
notwithstanding the disconnection of service for failure to make payment,
the amount due and in default shall in addition to said right of enforcement
by disconnection of service, become a lien on the property and premises
so served, to the amount of water rent due, and other services, fror.: the
date the same accrued and became due and payable, and said delinquent
payments enforced by assessment urcn the rroperty and -premises so served,
and certification thereof to the County Treasurer for collection under and
in pursuance of the authority and procedure provided in Ordinance No. 19,
1684, concerning assessment and collection of special charges."
Section 2. In tho opirl6n of the City Council an emergency
exists for the preservation of the public health, peace and safety, and
this ordinance shiall take effect upon its Dassa6e and publication, tinder and
by virtue of the authority contained in Sections 6 and 7 of Article I7 of
the City ''barter.
Introduced, read at length and adopted by the unanim-as vote
of all the members of the City Council this 24th day of November, A. D. 1923.
