BEING AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE AMENDING PARAGRAPH ONE OF SECTION 491
OF THE FORT COLLINS CODE RELATING TO LICENSE FEES FOR A'NUSEMENTS
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF 'PORT COLLINS
Section 1 That Paragraph One of Section 491 of the
Fort Collins Code be amended so as to read as folloi%s
"The license fee to be charged as provided in Section 1
of this ordinance shall be as follows
"All theaters, opera houses, skating rinks and public
buildings where theatrical, sleight-of-hand, musical or otter
entertainments shall be given, the proprietor, owner or manager
shall pay the sum of One hundred ($100 00) Dollars per annum in
advance All licenses expiring December 31st of the fiscal year e
Section 2 In the opinion of the City Council an
emergency exists for the preservation of the public health, peace
and safety, and this ordinance shall take effect upon its passage
and publication, under and by virtue of the authority contained _n
Sections 6 and 7 of Article IV of the City Charter
Introduced,read at length and adopted by the unanimous
vote of all the members of the City Council this 15th day of
December, A D 1923
