SLEIGHS OR BICYCLES BY ANY VEHICLE OR STREET CAR UPON THE STREETS, ALLEYS,
PUBLIC GROUNDS AND PARKS 71ITHIN THE CORPORATE LIMITS OF TIIF CITY OF FORT
COLLIITS, 4ND PROVIDING A PENALTY FOR VIOLATION THEREOF
BE IT ORDAINED BY TIE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITv OF FORT COLLINS
Section 1 The trailing or towing of sleds, sleighs or
bicycles by any vehicle or street car upon the streets alleys, parks and
publl-- grounds within the corporate limits of the City of Fort Collins
is hereby prohibited and both the operator of the sled, sleigh or
bicycle as well as of the vehicle or street car Imo vingly permitting
said towing or trailing shall uaon conviction be sabject to the penalty
of this ordinance
Section 2 4ny person or persons violating any of the
provisions of this ordinance shall upon conviction be fined in a sum
not less than Five ($i5 ) Dollars nor more than One Hundred ($100 )
Dollars for each ofrense 5ogether with the costs of suit
Section 3 In the opinion of the City Council an em-rgency
exists for the preservation of the public health, peace and safety and
this ordinance shall take effect upon its passage and xublication, under
and by virtue of the authority contained in Sections 6 and 7 of Article IV
of the City Charter
Introduced, read at length and adopted by the unanimoLs vote
of all members of the City Council this 15th day of December, A D 1923

of three (3) sections was duly -oroposed and read at length at a regular
meetirg of the City Council held on the 15th day of December A D 1923
and nes duly adopted and oraered published in the Fort Collins Express-
Courier a daily newspape and the official newspaper of the City of Fort
Collins, by the unanimous vote of all members of the City Council, as an
emergency ordinance, in accordance with the provisions of Sections 6 and 7
of Article IV of the City Charter and thereafter on to-wit the /9'
day of December, A D 1923, said Ordinance No :�_ ies duly published
in the Fort Collins Ecpres -Courier, a daily newspaper published in the
City of Fort Collins, Colorado
