of either hydraulic cement concrete or stone,"
is hereby repealed and the follovrlr.0 substituted therefor:
"All sidewalks and gutters %%thin the elt-; limits shall be constructed
of either hydraulic eement concrete or stone, at the option of the
City; except that within the fire 1ir:lts of the City of Fort Collins
all sidewalks and Cutters shall be constructed or h7draul1c cement

Section 2. In the opinion of the City council an energency exists for the

BEING AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE AMENDING A PORTION OF SECTION 6 OF
ORDINANCE NO. 10, 1914s RELATING TO SIDEWALKS, CURBS AND GUTTERS.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS•
Section 1. That the following sentence of 3action No. 6 of
Ordinance No 10, 1914, reading as follows
"All sidewalks and gutters within the city limits
shall be constructed of either hydraulic cement
concrete or stone,"
is hereby repealed and the following substituted therefor*
"All sidewalks and gutters within the city limits
shall be constructed of either hydraulic cement
concrete or stone, at the option of the Cityg
except that within the fire limits of the City of
Fort Collins all sidewalks and gutters shall be
constructed of hydraulic cement concrete only "
Section 2. In the opinion of the City Council an emergency
exists for the preservation of the public health, peace and safety, and this
ordinance shall take effect upon its passage and publication under and by
virtue of the authority contained in Sections 6 and 7 of Article IY of the
City Charter.
Introduced, read at length and adopted by the unanimous vote of
all the members of the City Council this 12th day of September, A D. 1925*

do hereby certify and declare that the foregoing ordinance, consisting of
two (2) sections, was duly proposed and road at length at a regular
meeting of the City Council held on the 12th day of September, A. D.
1925, and was duly adopted and ordered published in the Fort Collins
Express-Courier, a daily newspaper and the official newspaper of the
City of Fort Collins, as an emergency ordinance, in accordance with the
provisions of Sections 6 and 7 of Article IV of the City Charter, and
thereafter, bn to-wit the Ai %day of September, A D. 1925, said
Ordinance No la.� was duly published in the Fort Collins Express-
Courier, a daily newspaper published in Fort Collins, Colorado.
