BEING AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE MAKIIhG AN APPROPRIATION FOR THE PURPOSE OF
PAYING FOR ENGINEERING SERVICES IN MATTER OF PROPOSED WATER RORKS
IMPROVEMENT AND EXTENSION
WHEREAS, Since the adoption of the annual appropriation ordinance
for the fiscal year ending December 31, 1925, an emergency and unforeseen
contingency has arisen, whereby it has become and is necessary to pay
Seven thousand ($7,000 oo) Dollars for engineering services in the matter
of the proposed water works improvement and extension, and the public
necessity requires an additional appropriation of public funds therefor,
therefore
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
Section 1 That there be and hereby is appropriated out of the
and if not sufficient, than from the revenues of 1926,
yater works revenues for the year MS/ the sum of Seven thousand ($7,000 oo)
Dollars, to be used to pay for engineering services in the matter of the
proposed water works improvement and extension, which said sum, viben this
ordinance takes effect, shall be credited on the books of the City Clerk
and City Treasurer to the Water Works Extension Fund, and registered six
(6%) per cent warrants of the City shall be issued to cover said amount
Section 2 In the opinion of the City Council an emergency
exists for the pro-seraation of the public health, peace and safety, and this
ordinance shall take effect upon its passage and publication, under and by
virtue of the authority contained in Sections 6 and 7 of Article IV of the
City Charter
Introduced, read at length and adopted by the unanimous vote of
all members of the City Council at a regular meeting held this 26th day of

Collins, do hereby certify and declare that the foregoing ordinance, consisting
of two (2) sections,wss duly proposed and read at length at a reguhar meeting
of the City Council held on the 26th day of September, A D 1925, and was duly
adopted and ordered published in the Fort Collins Express-Courier, a daily
newspaper and the official newspaper of the City of Fort Collins, by the
unanimous vote of all members of the Council as an emergency ordinance, in
accordance with the provisions of Sections 6 and 7 of Article IV of the City
Cbarter and thereafter, and on to-wit the T day of September, A D
1925, said Ordinance No e�di was duly published in the Fort Collins
Express-Courier, a daily newspaper published in the City of Fort Collins, Colorado
