HomeMy WebLinkAbout033 - 09/26/1925 - SUPPLEMENTING THE ANNUAL APPROPRIATION MADE FOR WHITE FLUSHER FUND, FIRE DEPARTMENT EQUIPMENT FUND A L ORDINANCE NO 499 , 1925, BEING AN EMERGENCY APPROPRIATION ORDINANCE SUPPLEMENTING THE ANNUAL APPROPRIATION MADE FOR WHITE FLUSHER FUND FIRE DEPARTMENT EQUIPAM" FUND AND MUNICIPAL RAILWAY PITKIN STREET PAVING FUND FOR THE FISCAL YEAR ENDING DECEMBER 31ST, 1925 WHEREAS Since the adoption of the annual appropriation ordinance for the fiscal year ending December 310 1925, an emergency and unforeseen contingency has arisen whereby it has becore and is necessary to pay $252 00 interest on White Flusher Fund as well as $240 00 fora Fire Department Equipment Fund and $307 62 interest account of Muhicipal Railway for Pitkin Street paving, and the public necessity requires an additional appropriation of public funds therefor therefore BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF TIE CITY OF FORT COLLINS Section 1 That there be and is hereby appropriat-d out of the general revenues of the City of Fort Collins the sum of Two Hundred fifty- two ($252 " Dollars to be used for paying interest on White Flusher Fund, which said sum is supplemental to the appropriation heretofore made for White Flusher Fund, said sum being payable out of the general revenues for the fiscal year ending December 31, 1925 Section 2 That there be and hereby is appropriated out of the general revenues of the City of Fort Collins the sum of Two Hundred rorty ($240 cc) Dollars to be used for Fire Department Equipment which said sum is supplemental to tha appropriation heretofore made for Fire Department, and said sum being payable out of the general revenues for the fiscal year ending December 31, 1925 Section 3 That there be and hereby is appropriated out of the general revenues of the City of Fort Collins the sum of Three Hundred seven and 62/100 ($307 62) Dollars to be used for paying interest on account of Municipal Railway for Pitkin Street paving which said sum is supple^e ntal to the appropriation heretofore made for Municipal Railway, and said am being payable out of the general revenues for the fiscal year ending December 31, 1925 -1- Sectior 4 In the opinion of the City Council an emergency exists for the preservation of the public health, peace and safety, and this ordinance shall take effect upon its passage and publication, under and by virtue of the authority contained in Sections 6 and 7 of Article IP of the City Charter Introduced, read at length and adopted by the unanimous vote of all members of the City Council at a regular meeting held this 26th day of September, A D 1925 Commissioner of Safety Officio ATTEST ty Clerk STATE OF COLORM ) SS COUNTY OF LARIMER)) I, A J ROSENOWJ City Clerk of the City of Fort Collins, do hereby certify and declare that the foregoing ordinance, consisting of four (4) sections, was duly proposed and read at length at a regular meeting of the City Oouncil held on the 26th day of September, A D 1925, and was duly adopted and ordered published in the Fort Collins Express-Courier, a daily newspaper and the official ne79pa-0er of the City of Fort Collins, by the unanimous vote of all members of the Council, as an emergency ordinance, in accordance with the provisions of Sections 6 d 7 of Article IY of the City Charter and thereafter on to-wit the �day of September, A D 1925, said Ordinance No 3 was duly publidlvd in the Fort Collins Express- Courier, a daily newspaper published in the City of Fort Collins, Colorado IN WITNESS WAT OF, I have hereunto set my hand and affixed the seal of said City this day of Se e D 1925 City Clerk
