WRER4AS, Since the adoption of the annual appropriation ordinance for the fiscal year ending December 31, 1925, an emergency and unfbresesn contingency has arisen, whereby it has bacon and is necessary to pay Two thousand (?2,000.00) Dollars for Municipal Railway Em9rgency expense, and the public necessity requires an additional appropriation of public funds th3r3£or; thsr3fors: BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS: Section 1. That thsrs be and hereby is appropriated out of the Municipal Railway revenues for the year 1927, unless taken up prior thereto, the sum of Two thousand ($2,000.00) Dollars, to be used to pay for Municipal Railway Emergency expense, which said am, whsn this ordinance takes effect, shall be credited on the books of the City Clerk and City Treasurer to the Municipal Railway Emergency Fund, and registered six (6%) per cent warrants of the City shall be issued to covsr said amount. Section 2. In the opinion of the City Council an emergency exists for the preservation of the public health, peace and safety, and this ordinance shall take sf`3ct upon its passage and publication, under and by virtue of the authority contained in Sections 6 and 7 of Article IV of the City Charter. Introduced, read at length and adopted by the unanimous vote of all m9mbsrs of the City Council at a regular meeting held this 21st day of N099?^b 9T, A. D. 1925. D. 1925, and was duly adopted and ordered published in the Fort Collins Express-Courier, a daily ne spaper and the official newspaper of the City of Fort Collins, by the unanimous vote of all members of the Council, as an emergency ordinance, in accordance with the .,rcvisims of Sections 6 and 7 of Article I9 of the City Charter; and thereafter, and on to-wit: the .2115 day of November, A. D. 1925, said Ordinance No. 42 .as duly published in the Fort Collins Express- Courier, a daily newspapsr pal lished in the City of Fort Collins, Colorado.
