BEING AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE ISSUANCE OF FIVE
PER CENT REGISTERED WARRANTS IN THE AMOUNT OF $1,200.00 FOR
FIRE DEPARTMENT EMERGENCY.
VMREAS, Since the adoption of the annual appropriation
ordinance for the fiscal year ending December 31st , 1927, an
emergency and unforeseen contingency has arisen, vuereby it has
become and is necessary to pay Twelve Hundred ($1200.00) Dollars
for the purpose of purchasing one thousand (1,000) feet of fire
hose, and the public necessity requires an additional appropriation
of public fu.hds therefor; therefore
BE IT ORDAIIiED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS:
Section 1. That there be and hereby is appropriated out
of the general revenues of the City of Fort Collins for the year
1928, unless taken up prior thereto , the sum of Twelve Hundred
(01200.00) Dollars, to be used to pay for one thousand (1,000) feet
of fire hose, which said sum, when this ordinance takes effect,
sball be credited on the books of the City Clerk and City
Treasurer to Fire Department Emergency, and registered five (5%)
per cent warrants of the City shall be issued to cover said amount .
Section 2. In the opinion of the City Council an emer--ency
exists for the preservation of the public health, peace and safety,
and this ordinance shall take effect upon its passage and
publication, under and by virtue of the authority contained in
Sections 6 and 7 of Article IV of the City Charter.
Introduced, read at length and adopted by the unanimous
vote of all members of the City Council at a regular meeting held
this 5th day of February , A. D. 1927.

Collins, do hereby certify and declare that the foregoihng ordinance,
consisting of two (2) sections was duly proposed and read at
length at a regular meeting of the City Council held on the 5th
day of February, A. D. 1927, and was duly adopted and ordered
published in the Fort Collins Express-Courier , a daily newspaper
and the official newspaper of the City of Fort Collins , by the
mianimous vote of all members of the City Council, as an emergency
ordinance, in accordance with the provisions of Sections 6 and 7
of Article IV of the City Charter ; and thereafter and on to wit :
the 8 day of February , A. D. 1927, said Ordinance 1o.
was duly published in the Fort Collins Express-Courier, a daily
newspaper published in the City of Fort Collins , Colorado.
