ORDIX�NCE RELATING TO THE ANNUAL APPROPRIATIONS FOR THE FISCAL
YEAR BEGINNING TAIMURY lst, 1939 , AND ENDING DECEMBER 315t ,
1939, AND FLING THE MILL LEVIES FOR SAID FISCAL YEAR.
BE IT ORMINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS:
Section 1. That there be and is hereby appropriated
out of the revenues of the City of Fort Collins for the fiscal
year beginning January 1, 1939 and ending December 31, 1939 ,
the sum of Three Hundred Forty-two Thousand Nine Hundred Sixty
and fifty-nine hundredths ($342,960.59) Dollars , to be raised
by taxation and otherwise , which said sum is hereby divided
and appropriated for the following purposes, to-wit:

Section 2 That for the purpose of providing
necessary funds for meeting the appropriations set forth in
Section 1 of this Ordinance , the following levies be and are
hereby made upon each dollar of the assessed valuation of all
taxable property within the corporate limits of the City of Fort
Collins , the same being the amount necessary, together with
estimatea miscellaneous receipts , to provide for the payment
of the foregoing appropriations and to meet the payment during
the fiscal year ending December 31 , 1939 of all properly author-
ized demancis upon the City Treasurer, to-wit
Local Improvement Districts - - - - - - - - 1.07 mills
Conduit Bonds Sinking Fund - - - - - - - - 77 mills
Refunding Bonds of 1929 Sinking Fund - - - 67 mills
General Expense - - - - - - - - - - - - - - 12 49 mills,
being a total of 15 mills , which levies shall be certified to
the County Assessor, and to the Board of County Commissioners of
Larimer County, Colorado , by the Commissioner of Safety and Ex-
Officio Hayor and the City Clerk, as provided by law

Section 3 In the opinion of the City Council
an emergency exists for the preservation of the public health,
peace and safety, ana this Ordinance shall take effect upon
its passage unaer and by virtue of the authority contained
in Sections 6 and 7 of Article ICI of the City Charter
Introauced, lead at length and aaoptea by the
unanimous vote of all members of the City Council at a regular
meeting , held this 18th day of November, A D 1938

foregoing Orainance , consisting of three (3) Seations , was
duly proposed ana read at length at a regular meeting of the
City Council, held on the 18th day of November, A D 1938 ,
and was auly adopted and ordered published in the Fort Collins
Express-Courier, a daily newspaper and the official newspaper
of the City of Fort Collins , by the unanimous vote of all
members of the Council, as an emergency ordinance , in accordance
with the provisions of Sections 6 and 7 of Article IV of the
City Charter, and tnereafter, and on to-wit the 22nd day
said Ordinance No 10
of November, 1938,/was duly published in the Fort Collins
Express-Courier, a gaily newspaper published in the City of
Fort Collins , Colorado
